Graduation Rate

Loading...
66%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Wittenberg University graduation rate is above the national average.

66% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Wittenberg University completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Wittenberg University

Overall Rating:

I mailed in my deposit after touring this wonderful university! Absolutely beautiful setting with a tight knit community. The people were so friendly too! Though it looks expensive, the scholarship and Grant money I got more than covered what my family could not afford. If you worked hard in high school, they will notice. All in all, I can't wait to start this fall as a Wittenberg Tiger!

Overall Rating:

This "College" is a ME TOO moment and I am standing up as a parent. Our child & 2 others were sexually touched by a teacher in an elective class. When confronted by the girls to stop his behavior he charged our student & others with "academic dishonesty" ( lying about how many sit ups they recorded, seriously ?) trying to doge the origional complaint. Whittenburg said although he had previous complaints in his file they would deal with him in their own way. Another college accepted our student without transcripts based on the event. Our attorney from Capital University Law School Facility, stated this was "nothing new" in a small liberal arts school. We had to use our influence with a financial donor to get an audience with the new President of the collage and her credits were then released after we were forced to sign a "no lawsuit contract". We did however call the real police ( not campus police) to report the violation and file a real complaint, after our student safely transferred to a new school. ME TOO WHITTENBERG. ME TOO. The teacher involved is still on facility and reportedly involved in Olympic gymnastics & other child related activities!!! Our daughter & her friends were good students and had some scholarship money as freshmen. FIND ANOTHER SCHOOL. We are just beginning to STAND UP because we know there are other out there.

Overall Rating:

It's really awful that they have tore up tennis courts that were donated to the university. Now they are tearing down beautiful trees that line McCreight Avenue. Shame on Wittenberg University. A waste of money that could be applied for academics.

Overall Rating:

As my experience this is a great school. The professors care about their students. There are many resources on campus that are free and provide all students with help. Also, it's not just a school for the rich. I'm poor yet was still able to attend with many scholarships they offered me. There may be people who complain about upstuck kids here but we also have generous students who care. You're going to find upstuck and rude kids anywhere in the US, but there's also great kids that exist too.

One of the best decisions I have ever made was to attend Wittenberg University. The professors are fantastic and care about you as a student as well as a person. As an athlete, the coaches were huge influences on me as a person as well as a professional. Many of the opportunities I have had professionally are a direct result of the relationships I made during my time at Witt. I cannot say enough good things about my time at Wittenberg and cherish the memories I made while at Witt! Tiger Up!
