Graduation Rate
Westmoreland County Community College graduation rate is below the national average.
12% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Westmoreland County Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Overall Rating:
Veterans steer away from the school. They will steal your benefits and forge your signature to get your VA benefits. Go to better veteran friendly school.
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™Great staff and teachers who go the extra mile to help you!
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™One of the worst schools out there. They constantly make mistakes. Every time things seem like they are sorted out they mess up something else. They have wasted so much of my time and money and set me behind in pursuing my degree. I would not reccomend anyone to go here it's truly a disgrace.
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™I have always used WCCC for online and traditional general and prerequisite courses for various degree programs. The staff have always been very professional and eager to teach. The online courses were always very well organized and easy to follow along. I highly recommend this school!
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™This is by far the worst college I have ever, EVER been to! Every year it's something new that they screw up! Just recently I used an unsubsidized federal loan and they are trying to pull the wool over my eyes, yet again! Out of the total reward, they cut me a check for $300 when all of my fees, books, and tuition didn't even touch the full amount!!!!!! I hate this school with a passion! A fiery hatred that I hope one day, sooner rather than later, someone steps in and shuts it down! The teachers are a joke! I feel sorry for the teachers that actually do a great job, they get mulled over with the bad ones which are far more. All of them have high horses and aim to make you fail. Worst is, no one does anything about it!My advice, stay as far away from this school as you possibly can. Run! Go to somewhere that is rated terrible, and that school will be better than this one!!!
