The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Wayne Community College is 12:1, that means that for every 12 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Wayne Community College
My husband was denied admission because he graduated in the Caribbean. They asked for documents that the Islands don't maintain or have ever had! Everyone passed the buck! I think he is frustrated do he decided not to go back! Shame on you WCC!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I worked as a cna in Florida for the past 35 years, with my last job at a hospice for 15 years with excellent recommendations. I moved to NC and had to take the written test and skills test at WCC. I passed the written test with 100, but did not pass the skill test, I could do anything right. Instructor was hateful. I retired but would have loved to continue to work.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I stick with my original review a few months ago. This place is a joke .I don't know why I thought I would give them another chance. I'll take the extra drive and go to a better college further away. Customer service is 0 especially the financial aid department. I take all of my required paperwork and legal documents and they still say it's not enough. I don't have time to keep going back wasting time and gas when I had everything that was required.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The financial aid office is AWFUL. Teachers are nice, transferred out of this school so I wouldn’t have to deal with their financial aid office anymore.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As a parent I think the college was great in my daughters training but I also have issues with the school. My daughter attended the Dental Assistant program. Worked hard and was chosen Valedictorian of her class. She has worked with a Dentist for 2 years, top notch in her work ethics. She decided to go back for the Dental Hygienist program. I understand the program is competitive but not even being considered as one of your top notch students tells me not a lot of thought goes into applications most likely. I told her to go and discuss this issue. She has not and to this I find disheartening. Much time and effort and your school will not consider you? I am puzzled.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
