Student Reviews and Ratings for Concord University
Do not take your loved ones here unless you want them to expire. They dont care about your love ones and will lie to your face about their careSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Your money is their priority. I have been a part of the civil engineering program for 4 years now and plan to graduate in December. I can’t wait to get out of this hell hole. They find any way to get more money out of you like their ridiculous library and facilities fees. Almost $1000 a semester goes to that alone. All the good faculty/professors ( the few that were here) have all left. I have had several professors throughout my education here put so many of us students down. Though the education is cheaper here, you get what you pay for. I would have gladly spent more money somewhere else to have a more positive experience. I would never recommend this place to anyone trying to get an education.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have been trying to sign up for a class for over a month. I had all of my transcripts sent electronically and I have called over a dozen times and if I get a hold of a person I get no where. Today I was told give me 30 minutes and I will call you back, we’ll no one called me back. Is this even an accredited college.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Everyone has their own experience here, mine was challenging. I had to pay for everything on my own, fund my own education. The work study program was great, enjoyed where I got to work for. Some of the professors are great, some average, and some who never needed to be a professor. Every university has a nut job professor, it's normal. They told us constantly that the building projects would never push our tuition to be raised. THAT WAS A LIE. Don't believe them when they say this. They force your students to buy over priced meal plans that were (in my day) 3-4 grand, per semester (four months). For four months on 3-4 grand, you would expect some excellent food! Nope, you are forced to eat cafeteria food, cooked by AVI employees, whom I watched leave the restroom without washing their hands. With all that money, they cook mediocre food.So yeah. It's an average place.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
If you care at ALL about morals, values, ethics, people, or anything in life that is good--do NOT go here. Don't work here. Don't go to school here. Don't see their doctors or go to their hospital. Some of the most terrible people in the country run this place. I only wish I had the money to spread the word to everyone and sue them for every cent they have.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
