Twin City Beauty College graduation rate is below the national average.
51% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Twin City Beauty College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Twin City Beauty College is 16:1, that means that for every 16 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Twin City Beauty College
Excellent color and cut by Tyler Denham. Absolutely love my hair. Not only did she color and cut Tyler taught me a few things on managing my hair. Will definitely be back!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Today I used a Groupon for cut and highlights for my 13 year old daughter. Was told I had To make an appt and arrive at 10am so we did so. After waiting 1/2 hour the student called us back. She was very friendly and knowledgeable during our consultation. We just wanted some babylights throughout her hair and to be toned to an ashy blonde. Great! She did a fantastic job at the placement of the highlights but it took entirely too long. My daughters hair had bleach on it for over 2.5 hours. Time to move on to the toner. They were out of what we needed. I told My daughter to tell her it’s fine we can go to Sally’s grab some Wella t18 and I can do it myself. Easy! Not sure if it was the instructor or the student but they insisted on putting on a mixture toner. After 3 hours you can barely see the highlights. Nothing like the picture I showed them of her last year. Looks like I’m going to Sally’s buying a Malibu treatment to remove this muddy toner from her hair then applying the correct toner. I’m also very worried about the integrity of her hair. The bottom few inches are pure white and will probably have to be chopped off before they split all the way up. We may have caused years of damage but only time will tell. Side note: on our drive home she informs me that students around her were talking about sex which I find very unprofessional.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

I had a wonderful experience at this beauty college. My hairdresser / colorist name was Maddie. She was so helpful as I did not know what exactly I wanted to do with my hair except I knew I wanted to color it. She along with two instructors brainstormed with me to find the perfect color for me. Not only did I get a wonderful color for my hair but I got a wonderful cut with it. Maddie was so friendly and she's close to graduating. I just know she'll do very well as she goes on in her career. And all of the staff were very friendly and helpful to me. I am so happy with the service I received. I'm even turning the heads of some younger men LOL. Thank you Maddie and Twin City Beauty College. Will definitely recommend this to my friends.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I booked via groupon a cut for my girlfriend. This is the second time she has been there. The first time took two days for it to be completed and this time was again no different. She spent 7 hrs getting her hair dyed and not really the color she wanted. She gave up in the end as she had to be somewhere and they still hadn't cut it. The coloring was not great and I know the supervisors have to watch over the students but if you use a student who is not ready for that then don't let them do it. All in all very disappointing with the color and also the time. They offered to cut it another day but really if you cant get it done in 7 hrs then something is wrong. It they know something is beyond them or is going to take so long then let the person know. It completely derailed the day and also the next day because we had to get it redone for an event. It’s cheap for a reason but please be upfront with what you can do and also how long it might take. Some of us don’t have the luxury of being able to spend 7 plus hours at the salon. Thanks for your response... There was nothing wrong with the customer's hair it was the color you put in last time. So far you blamed the student for being horrible slow and the customer for having bad hair. Not exactly great customer service or a good indication of your teaching. I think you offered a service you couldn't manage and the supervisors, there were two, weren't good enough to instruct the studentSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
