Student Reviews and Ratings for Truman Medical Center School of Nurse Anesthesia

Male nurses in the emergency are rude, unprofessional and downright disrespectful. Worst hospital I've ever encountered. Stick with female nurses they're more humble and understanding. Thank goodness I didnt give birth there.

For those of you who are complaining like a bunch of 5th graders, there are other patients to be taken care of not just you, they are probably patients that are in worse condition than you! I get it your mad but TMC is the busiest Level I trauma center in the city, and guys come on! let's not overreact!! you guys are acting like children. There are Nearly 1,500 nurses at Truman Medical Center. They also have more than 4,200 employees and over 500 physician and medical staff. So don't go on here and start complaining!!

Overall Rating:

This hospital truly lives their mission and serves all patient's regardless of their ability to pay. Looking in from the outside it's so easy to judge, however, TMC serves all patient regardless of race, color, or the ability to pay. There are not to many businesses, let alone hospitals that can say that. Every day new technology and strides are being made. Moreover TMC has some of the greatest healing attributes with the healing arts, pet therapy, music therapy, the cafe, and barista options. Wait times need to improve in all aspects of the hospital.

I came to the Truman ER on a Friday night. Yes, the wait was a little on the long side, 3 hours, but I didn’t mind because my issue was not life threatening and I was not in any serious pain. They were clearly very busy and having to wait shows they are taking their time with their patients. I found all of the nurses and doctors (plus other staff members) to be great. Everyone at Truman is really down to earth, they don’t have that obnoxious arrogance that a lot of other medical professionals I’ve met have. Once I was called back, I feel I saw everyone involved in my care in a timely manner. I received better care and was shown more respect at Truman than I ever have in the past at KU or St. Luke’s. Even had a few laughs. Everything was very clean and the staff really seems to enjoy their jobs. If I need to go to the ER in the future, I would definitely choose Truman again.

To the owner!! Do you not care about the horrific reviews of Truman Hospital?? Everything is under par at this facility! The hospital needs a complete overhaul. Maybe you could fly out to LA and see how professional they run their hospitals. Maybe you should recruit for people out of state who are true professionals to move to Kansas City to work in your facility!! Sheesh! PS Cleanliness is a must in a hospital. You don't know that???!!!! Denise Dale from Mountain Home Arkansas.
