Trident Technical College graduation rate is below the national average.
10% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Trident Technical College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Trident Technical College is 21:1, that means that for every 21 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Trident Technical College
I have had some really great experiences here with faculty and staff. The instructors have been some amazing people I've hated to leave. They are always willing to go above and beyond to help and are very understanding and accommodating. The school has many resources to students such as the math lab and different tutoring options, class flexible schedules, financial help and just so much. I've had a pleasant experience as a current student. Yes, I've had a few less then good experiences but nothing memorable to bad mouth a whole establishment. Great place, give it a real chance!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Came to this school awhile ago to apply for Nursing and was told their was a waiting list of 1-2 years which is understandable. But, the lady just starred at me and wouldn’t give me more information and was being very blunt and rude it seemed from my point of view. Her response to my questions were careless as if she just wanted me to leave. Basically to get to the point I felt like I left more confused then when I first arrived. The whole environment seemed like they didn’t care about their students or people who want to become a student. I decided to attend another school and hoping my experience is far more better then this one.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As an adult needing a flexible schedule for a full time job and student status, this was a great choice! The classes are 7 weeks long, allowing you to knock out your core classes with ease. The teachers treat you like adults and not 18 year olds which was refreshing, the testing centers are amazing if you miss a test due to an emergency, and the curriculum is straight to the point. I wish they offered my 4 year degree, I would have stayed all the way through instead of stopping at my Associates.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This college is always screwing something up. You leave messages for financial aid and no one ever calls back. You call for an appeal process and the person doesn't give you the right information and then after you get to the right person, they don't contact you months later. I fully believe the faculty and staff certainly attended this college and reflect the 10% graduate rate.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The teachers here are all outstanding and they make you feel like they want you to succeed. I have taken College Algebra, Biology and Spanish in the classroom and the instructors were all topnotch. There is also additional help available to students in the free math lab and writing centers as well as Spanish tutoring. The online classes are not that confusing but you do need to pay attention because sometimes you are required to take classes through third-party online textbooks via the access codes. The only problems I had were with transferring credits to the school and getting contradictory information from the financial aid office on one occasion. I do wish the school did a better job with advising students but I understand the logistics issues. Everyone at the hub is friendly and helpful! Use them they are a great resource. To all the people that left negative reviews, I would say "you get out what you put in". This is college and you get treated like an adult.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
