Graduation Rate

10%
BELOW AVERAGE

Trident Technical College graduation rate is below the national average.

10% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Trident Technical College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Trident Technical College

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

I’ve been to a few schools due to being military affiliated and I must say this one was the worst. Took 2.5 years (even took summer courses to try to finish sooner) to receive my Ass. In science after having to withdraw and retake several of their 7 week courses. That schedule is ok for your general ed courses but if you’re going to have to take higher courses such as microbiology, trig, chemistry etc. I definitely would NOT choose this school save yourself a lot of time!

Overall Rating:

Absolutely terrible, the teachers could care less. I'm not even a month in and I already know its going to be awful! I have yet to receive any type of scheduel. I don't get replies from teachers even face to face sometimes. And worst of all they lie about the courses they offer. But wait that's not all, their online option is beyond terrible, the teachers do NOT upload assignments and when they finally do, it's all out of order and doesn't have every test you need. In conclusion I won't be going here again, and would recommend mooving before attending trident!

I called to inquire about the Nursing program and usually when a prospective student request information the staff is knowledgeable about the programs and is able to give you details and answer any questions. I asked if she could give me information on the nursing program and her reply was it's a 2 year program and you have to take the PAX test. I said is that all of the information you can give me? she said I don't know what else you want to know but you can look on our website. RUDE!!!

Overall Rating:

People are friendly there and if you are lost and need help, the staff will gladly help you and won't give you attitude about it. The outside Japanese garden is beautiful and their fountain is amazing. Good place to take a stroll around and get a feel of the nature there.

Overall Rating:

I have moved around a bit and therefore have transferred schools a couple times and have had to take classes at several colleges. this is by far the worst college I have ever attended. Every time you talk to a different administrative member you get a different reply. Some are just unwilling to help while others just don't comprehend the simplest questions. Surprisingly the teachers weren't half bad ONCE you got in the class successfully but good luck getting in the right class. it is one big headache. Everyone in the administrative staff acted like they could care less about the students futures. Want to change these awful reviews? Take care of your administrative department.
