Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy-Ambler is 11:1, that means that for every 11 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy-Ambler
I was horrified yesterday when I got home from The Beauty Institute in Ambler and saw the full extent of what was done to my hair. This is considered a "balayage." It's a slanted line of demarkation with no blending whatsoever. I'm not someone who is very picky about how my hair looks, and I'm a college student so I go to Schwarzkopf for the good price, but never have I had such a horrendous result. I cannot believe the teacher saw this and was satisfied with it. Save yourself the expensive salon repair job that I just had and skip this place entirely.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I struggled with how many stars to give because if I would just basing it on the teacher I would have given one star. However the new student Amanda was fabulous. Terrific color she help me pick out a good color change for my hair. And she did a wonderful job cutting and doing exactly as I wanted. In fact I even said to her it's good. She said she had to call over her teacher for checking and her teacher never asked me what I thought. And just started cutting making it even shorter and uneven. I showed her a picture and she said she was going to make it like the picture and it is nothing like that at all. Amanda seem to have understood what I wanted. It is one of the worst haircuts I've ever experienced for curly hair. It is uneven and here it is a week later and whether I let it dry naturally or dry it with a blow dryer it is clearly uneven. I was tempted to go somewhere else to have it evened out but I don't want it any shorter than it is. I want you to give kudos to Amanda but perhaps the school when you call a teacher over for the giving the okay for the final product they should ask the customer if it's how they like it before they start to cut. I loved Amanda but because out of concern that I would get this teacher again I would not return. Very unhappy. I also called two times to express my concern to the school. I never got a response back which is why I'm leaving this message. The fact that they didn't even care of my thought about coming back is poor customer service another reason I would not return. So for anyone who's going ask for Amanda. But make it very clear to the teacher you are happy with your hair before they start to cut again.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

Just had my hair washed, cut, and dyed by Madina! Madina was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. She explained each step of the process during my visit at the salon, and knew when to ask for input from the instructor. The instructor constantly circulated on the floor, and was also very sweet and helpful! My hair looks great and feels better than it has in months! I will definitely be going back!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
