Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Tint School of Makeup and Cosmetology-Irving is 10:1, that means that for every 10 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Tint School of Makeup and Cosmetology-Irving
Every person that has done my hair here have done a wonderful job never dispondet and very friendlySource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This School was by far a horrible experience for me. The whole entire staff was very rude racist uneducated people. They didn't go by the contract or TDLR rules. Our teacher was 80 years old she couldn't walk or talk at the same time her health was very bad I taught myself the whole entire time I was there. To the point I felt sorry for her they would work the poor lady to death. I didn't learn not one thing at that school all of the equipment was broken, all of the products was old, Towels where dirty and old. The owner of the school has been under investigation for frund stealing money from the government. Staff members spoke on how she's still stealing money. She's also rude don't care about the staff, school or students their. The owner terminated the esthetician program which left me out of school. I had 161 hour to complete and I would have been done , instead of them letting me finish they kicked me out. Saying they are terminating the program due to fact I'm complaining about not learning anything nor having anything to do all day. Instead owning up to their contract they kick me out their school. I was so hurt with into depression very bad because being esthetician is something I always dream of. This school crushed my dreams and seem like goals all in one. I advise everyone not to go to this school report them get them shut down they are taking the government money and killing people dreams.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

I have been coming here for more than 10 years. The staff are very hands on with students especially Ms.Jacive as it relates to their learning and improving their skill set. She has a very good hands on approach with students and her customers. Coming here ,you get an opportunity to build a relationship with your student stylist and I like it very much. I plan to continue to receive services services here.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I am Dewayne, producer of the international Beautiful You Fashion Tour. I produce fashion shows worldwide and would highly recommend Tint Cosmetology School for any event. They have provided hair, makeup, and nails at 7 of my fashion events in the Dallas Fort Worth, TX area. Tint is one of the best out of plenty of schools worldwide that I work with. Amanda Ortega does a great job at selecting the right talent. The staff and students are very punctual, organized, and are in good spirit. The work that the students perform is always above satisfactory. I never have to worry about hair, makeup, or nails each time once my date has been approved. Thanks!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
