72%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Morristown graduation rate is above the national average.

72% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Morristown completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Overall Rating:

My daughter failed a whole three months (trimester) of classes over a 1.4 difference in one class. All other classes met the goal of 81 or above in order to pass. I couldn't be more upset with a school. I went through all the channels to ask for leniency. Other classes were given an opportunity to make up test so they would make the grade and her class wasn't. This school is all about the numbers and money. After giving the other class opportunity to do makeups they had the numbers they needed to succeed and therefore no one else was granted this opportunity. She may not have the money to return if the financial aide won't cover it. I would not recommend this school to anyone. There is nowhere else our area for LPN License and I really wish there were.

I don't know about any of the other classes but the Multimedia Design Technology is a JOKE! the teacher pick favorites and if you're not one them, you will be a nobody. The Teacher's give almost everyone a A+ in every work he gives out. doesn't really tell you what a problem is. Then when he had to take time off. He had one of his ''Favorites'' students become the teacher until he got back and the This school let him. That person made me miss a really good job because that person did not do their job right! I did a portfolio and asked the ''Teacher'' to look over it. She gave it back and told me it was really good! Well I went to the job interview with it and I had a lot of mistakes on it! I went to the person that was over the school, that's was on site few weeks after that cause there was a lot of problems and they didn't do anything about it. Just said they will look into it, they never did! next day I graduated EARLY and you could tell I was not ready! I did not learn anything! even when I first started the real teacher just sat on his butt and no talk to anyone but his favorites students! That class was a joke and this college is a bigger Joke. they only care about the money.

I was on my last subject before I graduated, and I was let go because I missed a week to be with my daughter during a major surgery. The only place I've ever known to deny a medical leave. Bob Steele don't teach class. All he does is smoke cigarettes outside and leave it up to the students to learn on their own. We sit in class and take open book test for over a year and didn't get any hands on training from Bob Steele or anyone else. Don't waist your time work this school unless you like staring at the walls and taking open book test
