Student Reviews and Ratings for ITT Technical Institute-Tampa
going to this college was a huge mistake. advisors are very uneducated concerning the programs they offer and will sign you up for all kinds of bs classes that don't count for anything. All of their health programs have huge waiting list which they don't tell you about until after you've taken all the pre-reqs and go to apply for the program and you're told that they won't be accepting new students into the program for a year+ but have no problem taking your money. None of their program classes align with other programs so if you take a bunch of pre-reqs to apply into a program and you either don't get accepted or are placed on a waiting list, you'll have to start completely over with a new major. There will also be extra fees that "FASFA doesn't cover" that they expect you to pay out of pocket after already getting accepted into some health programs (not sure about some of the non-health concentrations) and they don't tell students this from the beginning. They also lie and tell students that all of their credits transfer to four year colleges which is false. I had a friend who was at stark for almost 3 years doing pre-reqs for a finance degree and she only had 12 credits that would be accepted to go towards the same degree at the University of Akron. They will charge you for dropping classes a week after they start and do absolutely nothing to try and help their students. If you plan on going to a four+ year college, do yourself a favor and just go. Do not waist your time and money here. the only complement I could give id that most of the professors there are very kind and do all that they can to help the students, for the rest of Departments, I can't even come close to saying the same. Very disappointed with my experience here to say the least. just feels like a huge waist of time. Now I will be 22 just now starting a bachelors degree at UA because I waisted so much time with Stark smh. update: An associate from the college called me regarding this rating. She asked if there was anything she could help with and when explained my concerns she said she would call me back and never did. Honestly not surprised.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Don't waste your time going here there are people and instructors that are good and mean well but too many peabrains running the place, depressing, low effort place. Worst experience of my lifeSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This school changed my life. I transferred to Stark after having a horrible freshmen year at a 4 year college. I don't know why I transferred to Stark State. I never even visited it, I just didn't know what else to do. I transferred, worked part time and got my degree done in two years. Now I am working at a great job in my field that SSC helped me get and helped me prep my resume for. My professors bring out the best in me. But, you get out of an education what you put in. I put everything I had into this school and love the outcome. I could comment more, but I'm just going to keep it short. Very thankful to have gone to Stark State CollegeSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Stark State College is extremely affordable with a flexible schedule. The professors I have encountered have been extremely happy to work with any issues I have had -- their Veterans Services is AMAZING!! I highly recommend Stark State to all.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
