Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Standard Beauty College of Oklahoma is 14:1, that means that for every 14 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Apparently, you need to be taught to be disrespectful, argumentative, impolite, confrontational to the guest, etc.And while they did what I wanted in a school (or for a school setting by someone who desperately needed the practice). After the student asked me what was wrong. I was mubbling and I was worried about what they wanted to do and said "people think they get trained in an area and they think they know everything." She leaves and the teacher comes back and gets in my face and says, "Dont be talking bad about me to my student!!"Look if you are the representation of how professional your students are going to act and this is how you feel you are going to gain admiration or respect back from your student. . . Then NO one needs to go to any student or Xstudent (after they leave your school). I don't care how good the service and application of the process is. You just trained your student to be impolite, disrespectful, confrontational, and to not be a professional in a public service. You could have rectified my concern and been gracious instead of hostile. Then the students says to me. "I just care about my education." Look your education is learning not just the service but how to treat people to WIN them over. Not loose their respect or cause them a painful experience where they go and tell 20 people and 1/2 to 2/3 if not all tell 20 people who then tells everyone and so on and so forth. You can't fix the behavior or ill will caused by tattling/snitching, causing a ruckus. And the school cant fix the fact that your teacher should have covered for your bad behavior by exemplifying better behavior in front of you. Instead you are taught that your guest are to be abused and air out what should have been irrelevant to your teacher. Your teacher should have handled my worries and concerns with grace giving you a better idea of HOW TO HANDLE THE PUBLIC even if you disagree. You do not air it out in front of everyone within an ears shot. So the bad behaviour is shared on this post, Yelp, google, etc. Then the behavior was worse when a second teacher decided that she had to stick her nose in it, too. And she handled herself no better. So my painful experience isn't about what was done to my hair, eyes, skin or whatever but how bad this school needs some etiquette classes for the students and the teachers.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
