Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Spa Tech Institute-Westbrook is 8:1, that means that for every 8 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Student Reviews and Ratings for Spa Tech Institute-Westbrook
I had a wonderful therapeutic session with Erin G. last week! She already has fantastic instincts about shifting techniques to match the clients' needs, and can do some amazingly deep work in a completely painless way. I'll be very sad when she graduates, but she is going to be a solid professional.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
In the interest of full-disclosure, I am a Spa Tech graduate and, now, instructor after working as a massage therapist since 2011.1/8/2020: I received a session from Jessie Brown who is part-way through her therapeutic massage program. She has a very up-beat personality and was very professional in asking for and discussing what areas needed the most attention in the time we had available. She used a firm pressure and applied it with her knowledge of anatomy to target my chronically tight rotator cuff muscles. I gave her some feedback, which she graciously accepted -- she's one of those students that I would hire immediately if she was graduating tomorrow. As she moves into the more advanced massage techniques, she's only going to keep getting better, and I can't wait to see how she grows!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Tuesday I had a massage session with Devin L.She was very professional and courteous during the visit. During the session she spoke with me to ensure that I was comfortable, and that the techniques that she was using weren't causing any pain or discomfort. She recognized that I had one area in my back that was beyond her skill level, and helped to set me up with a provider that can address that area during my next appointment.Altogether a successful treatment, and I would be happy to have another session with Devin.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Best Massage I've had. Natalie was amazing. Very professional was all about what areas I wanted to spend more time on. The massage was very relaxing. If your looking for a massage go see natalie at spa tech. I certainly will be going back.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went into the spa to get a haircut and was so delighted by the cut, style and attention I received from Crystal. She was a great listener and she did a great job of cutting my hair as we chatted about all kinds of things. It was fun, relaxing and professionally handled. She's thorough, attentive and mature in her attitudes and approach and I really appreciated that service! She helped correct a badly done cut (which was done at a different salon) and got me feeling much better about growing my hair out. I have a fresh cut, look better and feel great! I can't think of any better result and I will come back and see her again! thanks so much, Marianna CSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
