Graduation Rate

Loading...
95%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Southeastern Institute-Charlotte graduation rate is above the national average.

95% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Southeastern Institute-Charlotte completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Southeastern Institute-Charlotte

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

I have recently graduated and I have to say that this is an EXCELLENT INSTITUTE TO ATTEND..........Instructors are very knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. I attended Southeastern to become a Medical Assistant. Now I am a RMA and working at Novant. I have to say if it wasn't for my Husband, hard work, dedication, and the caring instructors (Ms. Doerflinger, Mrs. Martin, Mrs. Booker, Ms. Jordan) just to name a few I wouldn't have made it. So thank you all and keep up the good work.

Overall Rating:

I am valedictorian of my class at Southeastern. I was able to accomplish that because I was able to focus on my studies and not worry about the financial responsibility while in school. What I love is that no matter your financial circumstance, they will help you in every way possible and they do not stress you about your bill while you are in school. They understand the reason you are there is to be able to earn more. If you don't succeed, you can't get a well paying job and take care of the bill. In addition to that, the instructors are really intelligent and great at what they do. They will provide every resource they have to ensure you have what you need to be successful in each individual class as well as on the licencing exam. I wish undergraduate school was like this. At Southeastern, they don't hold your hand but they are always there to assist if you need it. Lastly, the faculty has made a lifelong commitment to ensure you stay employed. It doesn't matter how long since you graduated, if you need a job, they will help you find resources to renew your licence or credentials and secure a job. This is definitely something career services at other institutions are lacking. They have no obligation to help people get jobs. So, you pay a fortune to go to their school and they don't try to help you find employment. Perhaps it has gotten better since I was in undergrad. But if I had this support in undergrad, I am sure my career path would have been different. I think Southeastern is a great choice if you want to go to a school that puts your success as first priority.

Where do I begin? Southeastern Institute changed my whole entire life around. Thanks to Southeastern Institute I have a steady job and career. I completed my 8 month program in Medical Assisting with honor roll and perfect attendance. It was not an easy journey, however it was a challenging one. Southeastern offered help and assistance with small classes and teachers who wanted to see me succeed. If I ever felt short or in doubt there was Morgan and Kim to help. Alumnus are still treated with dignity. As an alumni, I know I can still come to Southeastern Institute and use their resources if ever I may. I do not know too many schools/college that would offer that to their alumnus. I can truly say I made the best investment of my life.
