Student Reviews and Ratings for South Texas Vocational Technical Institute-McAllen
STVT has a really good Professional Massage Therapist program with dedicated teachers. The evening classes surely made my experience as a PMT student the best. The teacher I had cared very much about her students passing the MBLEX. She was always willing to go above and beyond to see you succeed. I am very thankful for that. I truly recommend this School.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I graduated with the class of 01/11/2018 as a Professional Massage Therapist. I recently took my MBLEX state exam and passed it. I very exited to start a new career in 2018. I want to thank all my teachers Ms Contreras, Mrs Placeres and Mrs Ballard for making this possible. I want to thank especially Ms Contreras who made the class fun and challenging. I really enjoyed her method of teaching by adding videos, projects and health class. Great teacher and mentor. It made me love school again. Thank you very much!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Do NOT make the same mistake I did. The evening massage therapy class is a joke. The teacher has no control over the class. The class clown who shows up on pills runs her mouth, takes up class time, is a disrespectful distraction and runs the class. I've made complaints and a police report. Oh, but did I mention her and the teacher are pals? Wierd teachers pet relationship. Shady things going on all over the place. They just want your financial aid money. The class is a damn circus!! STAY AWAY FROM STVT MCALLEN PLEASE!!!!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Very amazing experience. I was assisted by Ana. She was very professional and had the greatest advice. Other people I had called seemed very ingenuine so she was a breath of fresh air.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I really loved this school! The admissions department, career services, financial aid and the instructors were all great! They are determined to help you accomplish your goals. It's all a matter of meeting them halfway. They placed me in a job in my field and now I'm happy to be making money!!!! Thank you Career Services!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
