Graduation Rate

South College graduation rate is below the national average.

28% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to South College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for South College

Overall Rating:

its so strange how i never heard a bad word about this college until i started to attend. Everyone was so helpful in the begging and understanding of my hesitation with starting college. I finally got up the courage to start classes and I was completely on my own. I took two online classes. I was locked out of the system for the first week so I couldnt complete any of my work. Get into week two and started doing work in one class but since every class uses a different 3rd party website I was trying to keep up with 4 different programs all for two classes. I ended up being dropped from one of them and with that lost all my financial aid. The Professors were kind and understanding for the most part but they both lived in other states so I never met them. Admin is unorganized, rude, and never answer the phone or return voicemails. 5 Weeks into college and I'm already done and $5,000 in debt with nothing to show for it!

I currently attend the school and I absolutely love it! Small classes with excellent professors. Helpful advisory and financial aid staff. I am more than happy to have picked here to start my career.

Overall Rating:

This place is so unorganized. They only care about the rich and what kind of money they can get from you. Advisors are replaced with no ones knowledge. Emails and phone calls are unanswered. Good luck.

Administration is all over the place. Hard to get straight answers. Most professors grade on opinion and not fact. Have had to challenge grades in almost every class. You pay top dollar but they offer few resources.
