Student Reviews and Ratings for South College-Asheville
Overall Rating:
This school is a scam! They will tell you what ever they think you want to hear but only care about taking your money! I would strongly suggest looking else where for your education.
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™Attending this school has made going back for a 2nd degree easy, and comfortable. The staff is focused, and everyone who supports you there wants to see you be successful. In addition, they provide a ton of resources to help you be successful. If you are looking for smaller class sizes, approachable professors, and an overall good learning institution, this is a great place.

Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™I've been at South College for about a year now, still have another year to go. So far I love it. It's a private college, so it is small with small classes. The teachers are awesome; they really value your education. It is very expensive, but worth it. The credentialing you receive is higher than other schools in the area. I went to AB Tech to register for classes, after three consecutive days of financial aid giving me the run-around, I was told I didn't qualify and would have to pay out-of-pocket. I made an appointment with a South College admin rep on a Saturday, spent half a day getting financial aid and registration squared away, and started classes the second Monday after. I can't speak for the legal or business fields, but I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to go into the health field.
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™I'm new to south college, but I already luv it! There is a lot more one on one time with your professors. All of The advisors have been so helpful. The size of the school and the small class sizes are perfect for people who r there to learn. the professors are strict about what is allowed in the class room ( water, snacks) but it is all about professionalism. Your not gonna be allowed to have your water bottles with you when your making rounds at the doctors office or wherever your gonna work after school so you might as well get used to it now, right? And as far as money is concerned, you pay for what you get. The accreditations that this school has, far out weigh what other schools have in the area. And they accept Fed. Fin. Aid as well as other types. They even help you fill out all the forms and no payments till 6 Mon. After you graduate. I attended " other " schools and hated the giant class sizes and the teachers seemed too busy to help you. And I was treated like a number and an ATM. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants down to earth teachers, and small class sizes and a quality education.
