Schoolcraft College graduation rate is below the national average.
17% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Schoolcraft College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Schoolcraft College is 24:1, that means that for every 24 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Schoolcraft College
Great educational facility. I enjoy having schoolcraft implemented in my everyday schedule. eventually I'll be joining the fire academy after I take care of all my prereqs. All the professors I've had were beyond awesomeSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This school is chaotic... 95% of the staff are female. The teachers don't want to teach and mostly speak about there troubles at home. Financial aid office is absolutely terrible. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. A year round school with three semesters winter, spring, fall is very fishy and undoubtedly illegal. The retention and graduation rate is the worst in the state.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As a parent, I do not recommend this college. A few years ago, I told my son about this school. I said why don't you go there, it seems to be a nice little college. We went to orientation, and everything was nearby, easy to registered. However, this college is blood thirsty. They only thing they seem to care about is money. My son, travel 45 minutes everyday, just to take classes. When he finish his degree, no one cared. He had to see a counselor to approved his graduation. I went with him, this counselor lost all his professional skills. He did not suggest anything. No one appreciated the fact, that my son could of went to any college in the inner city. They gave no scholarships or financial aid. And Yes, there were three we applied for: like a scholarship for a full time student. However, when the Detroit Promise came through they did not notify us. Cut the money up and sent a check of the remaining balance. I had no ideal the Detroit Promise pay them anything until years later. Since all the scholarships we applied for at Schoolcraft did not come through. No letters, no updates, as if we never applied. When I called and inquired I was told to be patient. "Soon we will be notified." I really felt the lady really didn't know. They put us on a payment plan, in which my son promise to pay every cent of $6,000 program he started. When I asked for a T schedule years later, they informed me "he got a scholarship". However, I don't see it like that. They told me the "Detroit Promise" was the scholarship. However, I don't see it like that. The Detroit Promise is for all residents in Detroit. I applied for a Scholarship at Schoolcraft. Every year, I hear thousands of dollars go unused because students don't apply. And even though this school said they had scholarships, my son did not get any. Nor did he get any pell grant/financial Aid. This school is very hard giving financial aid as well. The other reason, I choose this school because of the soccer team. This is the only school I know that has a junior soccer league. However, the team was already booked up. My son, a who's been playing since he was six, could not even get on the regular team and was not invited to attend any game, even though the coach say he could be on the "starter" team. I paid $150 for uniform, that my son never pick up. I asked my son, to pick it up. But he did not. I was embarrassed by this coach. I dislike that this school took my son for granted. So, I don't recommend this school and I wish they will stop sending emails, it don't mean nothing. Since then we have switch schools, it has been the better decision made.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Most of the professors are really great. My issue with this place is that although it’s a commuter campus and a large portion of the student body is made up of working adults with families, certain programs make it practically impossible to continue if you have children and/a full time job or other obligations. In certain programs there are virtually no night/afternoon options, which leaves students stuck since said programs can’t be transferred anywhere else. Having children shouldn’t stop women from being able to complete a degree, but sadly it does.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
if you grew up in Livonia then you already know Schoolcraft College is basically just like High School. It is a great place to get your two year degree or cert in a skilled trade. Some teachers are obviously better than others, but that is just how the game goes of life! They used to have a good deal in the culinary arts program where the students would cook us meals on the cheap... But obviously that has gone to the Wayside to pay for all the expansions.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
