Overall Rating:

Great campus, friendly faculty, and fairly modern campus. It’s pretty easy to walk anywhere you need to be on campus. Good central location between Saginaw and Bay City. Parking can get pretty tight during prime hours, but here are overflow lots which ease the problem. Overall a good university

Overall Rating:

The campus was very spread out and wide open. Looks fairly new and modern. It's not walkable, and looks like a communter campus. There weren't any bars around the area, which concerns me as a student because I like to walk from my dorm to the bar. It's in a fairly new area of Sagi aw with lots of chain stores. The campus doesn't look very welcoming. It doesn't blend in with the businesses around. Literally looks like someone plopped a college on top of a corn field. The stadium is similar to that at my high school. Unsure how sporting events will be. Not my choice for a college.

My niece always wanted to become a Nurse. After doing everything that this college told her to do, even taken classes she didn't need, they told her after being there for four years it was a 5 year waiting list for the actual nurse program, I feel they was aware of this from the beginning, Shame on Saginaw Valley for there games.

Currently I don't go to this university, but i'm considering applying in the summer. Yesterday (4/21/18) I visited the university for a tour/to know more information about the school. I like the size of the campus and the various organizations and clubs you can join to improve your campus staying. I also like the different dorm room layouts you can choose from as a freshman and onward. As a current high school athlete, I love that they have a gym for people to use (with a cost). However, I thought they could've improved on their cafeteria food. I tried the breadsticks and they were so oily and not stuffed inside and the pizza tasted a little weird, not bad, but just weird. They have other food options to choose from though and maybe that was just two food items they could've improved on. The campus has a built in convience store, Starbucks, Papa Johns, and Einstein Bagels for other food options. I may be a Cardinal or not, but it was a nice visit to actually see the university.

This University is absolutely disgusting. They are racist. Point blank period. They have arrested countless African American students for simply playing basketball on their OWN campus. The campus security is prejudice towards African Americans and they look to provoke situations with that particular demographic in an attempt to arrest them and have them expelled from the university. Abosuletly disgusting. Do not support this RACIST university that TARGETS young African American males. They have made so many wrongful arrest towards JUST African Americans that the police department no longer allows them to detain students.
