Graduation Rate

Roxbury Community College graduation rate is below the national average.

10% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Roxbury Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.

Don’t bother trying to call the school for help, nobody picks up the phones.. on a rare occasion when they do they automatically transfer you to someone else. once transferred the phones rings and goes straight to someone’s voicemail and or someone who cannot assist you (which happened to me three times) and i was left on hold for 20 minutes to be transferred again. I left several voicemails and nobody ever reached out, I thought physically going down to the school for assistance would help.. I was wrong everyone there does not show any type of compassion or care.. i couldn’t start fall semester because RCC did NOT “receive” my transcripts that i paid money to have electronically sent. when they finally did find them registration was over.. i left the school crying after taking two hours off of work to take placement tests and register. I’m applying somewhere else for spring semester and i’m happy to say that i’m no longer going to be a student at this school, it’s ironic because i didn’t even start one class yet .

I took my SATs here and the desks were so tiny! It didn't even fit the second page of the booklet. It felt pretty suffocating.

Please be aware of this college. Worst college in USA. Took money out from Income Tax return without even attending any class. Please be very aware before you visit this college or sign any papers. My wife went there to check about the courses they provide and see the college. She never went to that college again and never did any class. After couple of months we received a bill that we owe money. Called the college and the front desk said that you have to talk with the billing department. They told us that you have to come to the college and sing the paper. My wife told that her foot is broken and she have 4 kids so that is why she cannot come. She Also told them that she will send doctor and hospital note that she cannot drive. They hung up the phone on her. She sent so many email and calls but no reply. Spoke with billing department that I really need that money for my kids. They guy I spoke said that i can not return the money. Spoke with HR department and they said that we only handle our employees department. Asked them about the dean and they hang up the phone. They don't deserve any star.

I am so disappointed with this school. Very unorganized. Every semester I have had a hold placed on my account from issues with the Business and Financial Aid offices. I'm sick of going to the offices assuming that the problem was resolved, only to have something else come up at the end of EVERY semester! I now have another hold and I spoke with the supervisor and she couldn't even find an explanation for me as to why I owe money that they issued me in a check months ago! I hate this school. I feel like the administration is way too unorganized and constantly hinders me from furthering my education.
