Student Reviews and Ratings for Columbia Central University-Yauco
People are giving bad reviews for a single bad experience. Wake up and use your time in something more productive. I am attending this school and everybody is helpful, the professors care for their students.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Today I went to the tutoring center to get help on my research paper, after being there for 10 minuets the women had no idea what she was talking about and told me to “google it”. Im sorry, but if i needed to google something i wouldnt be in the tutoring center. rccc’s staff needs to act more professional. I was on hold one time for 45 minuets then hung up and was still put on hold for another 30 minuets. Something should be done. I am wasting my money and not getting the education I deserve.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
They are extremely nice!! Very helpful but I agree they sometimes do not know what they are doing in navigation center. Its a run around !Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I had problem with the blackboard and they treated me as if I was idiot. After a while, finally they noticed that it was a technical malfunction of the system. They said that the IT department was going to fix the problem and call me back. Of course i have never received that call. After many attempts, I gave up and started in davidson county community college. This year I wanted to take a course at rccc and had same problems, same unprofessional approach again. They proved that it was a good idea to for me to go to another school. Navigation center staff have no idea what they do. Their website is a joke and IT infrastructure is mess.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I literally have no idea where these bad reviews are coming from. I’ve been at RCCC south campus for 1 1/2 years now, and I’ve had nothing but good experiences. All of my professors have been accreditable, financial aid is always helpful, and replies quickly to emails; and the advisors help with scheduling as well. The advisors are hard to contact via phone, but they are always readily available when you go on campus. I had personal troubles which caused me to lose my financial aid. And the FA advisors helped me get my financial aid back for the following semester in an appeal which took all of 30 minutes. I’ve never had an issue being a minority female on/around, as another reviewer stated. I’ve also never encountered rude or unprofessional staff as another reviewer stated. Maybe they’re talking about North campus in Salisbury. My experience with RCCC has been great thus far. Looking forward to getting my degree soon.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
