ABOVE AVERAGE

Ross Medical Education Center-Kentwood graduation rate is above the national average.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Ross Medical Education Center-Kentwood

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

Ross medical is entirely too expensive. The Instructors are lacking in ethics, experience and professionalism. Sat in class long enough to hear instructors speak badly about former students, current students and coworkers. Ross is designed to take advantage of those who otherwise can’t achieve a degree at a University. This school is more than a joke- it’s like walking into a used car dealership.

Overall Rating:

I had a great time, teachers were amazing staff as well. I always felt confident with everyone. I also learned a lot and now expect a new career thanks to Ross.

Overall Rating:

Just finishing up my Senior Module here at Ross, and it has been a great experience these past almost 7 months! I've been a student in the Dental Assistant Program with Mr. Garcia as my instructor (whom which I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to learn about dentistry) and I have no bad things to say about it. Challenging material? Of course, but worth it in the end. Ross is what you make it, and you get out of it however much effort you put into it! Study, show up to class everyday, and you'll be done and off on your career sooner than you think!

Overall Rating:

They told me if the program wasn’t a good fit for me I’d get my money back. I dropped out within the first 4 weeks and they said to me who ever told me I’d get my money back was lying and I owed $3,000 for just the 4 weeks I was there after they told me within the first month if I don’t like it I don’t owe anything. Horrible communication and horrible staff they did not help me at all. All they want it your money. You can find way better schools out there than this.

Overall Rating:

Staff/instructors at Ross are extremely unprofessional. This school is a for profit school, and is run likewise. Look around before wasting your time and money. If you disagree with an instructor (if you point out that you’re not learning anything) they will treat you petty. Instructors not only talk badly about former students, current student but also other staff to other students. Unsure of the criteria for employees, but it doesn’t appear that standard is high.
