Graduation Rate

Rosedale Technical College graduation rate is above the national average.

65% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Rosedale Technical College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Deciding to attend Rosedale Technical College for HVAC was one of the best decisions in my life. I now have a promising career in a field that is growing rapidly and needs well trained technicians. The entire staff is dedicated to providing the best training possible so that students are ready for work immediately following program completion. The director, Kara Chan, goes above and beyond to ensure that every student is put in position to succeed. The HVAC instructors are very knowledgeable and truly care about the success of each student. Tom Englert is able to take his 35 years of field experience and his passion for teaching to provide students with the opportunity to become top technicians at some of Pittsburgh’s largest HVAC companies. I highly recommend Rosedale for anybody that want to learn the trade and have a great career in HVAC.

I highly recommend Rosedale Tech to individuals looking to better their future. I am apart of the trucking industry and have worked with Rosedale in multiple occasions, in my opinion they are one of the best CDL/Trade schools in the Tri-State area. They take pride in getting their students employed. I have drivers who graduated months ago and Rosedale still communicates with them, the relationship doesn't end after graduation.
