Graduation Rate

Loading...
20%
BELOW AVERAGE

Rogers State University graduation rate is below the national average.

20% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Rogers State University completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

If you are looking for an Accounting Degree, look somewhere else. RSU doesn't have the right classes for an actual Accounting Degree. Beware of female teachers in this area. The ones that I have had were complete bitches. Your choices of teachers is also limited in the accounting area. They are supposed to have a Master's degree. One of mine just got hers and she is teaching upper level accounting classes and she is the ONLY one teaching these classes. I already had her for one of my classes and I will not take another class from her. She rewrites the books and some of the formulas. My first Microcomputer teacher was a complete idiot! I lost an entire semester due to his incompetence.

Overall Rating:

I love Rogers State University. They have three different locations: Claremore, Bartlesville, and Pryor. I would give it 5 stars, but some of my concurrent classes I took when I was a senior in high school were taught very much just like a regular high school class. I didn't feel like some of my basic gen ed classes did a good job at preparing me for my higher level degree classes. Rogers State is a great community though, with lots of extra activities offered, and friendly people every corner you turn.

Overall Rating:

My ex went here and her classes were a joke. She had her 12 year old niece do her online classes and paid her $50 a month and made straight A's. This girl could barely make C's at her high school but made A's at this college it was hilarious. ( 2 courses )
