The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Rogers Academy of Hair Design is 10:1, that means that for every 10 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Rogers Academy of Hair Design
BACKGROUND: I have been getting facial microdermabrasion here for nearly five years now, and equivalent treatments at commercial salons my entire adult life. I was an enthusiastic fan of this Career Academy location. (Keep in mind, my experience may not be typical.) However, following an extremely negative experience yesterday, I can no longer recommend receiving services here. Bruising during a microderm is rare, however, I have developed bruises in the exact same shape and pattern as the device. When I expressed during treatment that I was experiencing pain, rather than just discomfort, the student became defensive, as did the instructor I requested to talk to. At no point did anyone apologise, and I expect any response to this review will be met with the typical non-apology ‘we’re sorry you feel that way’. Places like this are usually a good value for those who cannot or do not wish to spend ten times the amount beauty schools charge for these services. Things can and do go wrong, even in ‘the real world’. I was in no way rude to anyone during my visit. However, the student assigned to my service was obvs very unskilled. This was a fabulous teaching moment-but I doubt it was seen as such. Instead, the onus was likely placed on me. Again, were this my first time here, my first time with micro, or even my first time dealing with people, I’d shrug and move on. However, I know better. Just go into this with your eyes wide open. You’re paying $30 for something that costs $150 or more in a salon. You get what you pay for.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Worst school you could attend. Don’t go to any of the career academy’s if you’re planning on attending cosmetology school. They staff and instructors have made plenty of the students drop out with how much disrespect is given. None of the instructors, nor the owner, know what respect is. While I was going here I was brought into the office for doing one little wrong thing and then the instructors, Michelle and Becca, had told me I didn’t know how to do anything. They had ended up suspending me from their school for a week, for telling them that all they were doing was being disrespectful to all the students. I was attending cosmo school the same time I was also going to high school and by being suspended from cosmetology almost made me also not able to graduate from high school because of the instructors. If anyone is looking for a cosmetology school in the NWA area, there is Paul Mitchell in Fayetteville, Arkansas! The students are treated much better there!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I had a great experience during the time I was a student. I am so grateful for the knowledge I gain and everyone made me feel like I was at home learning I always had someone there with every step of the way. Thank you career academy for everything you have done for meSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
It was so sad to know that they are a scam. So many wonderful students wanting to learn their dream job just for them to teach them the MINIMUM!? Do better. I don’t recommend supporting this scam.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As a former student, I would not recommend this school to anyone. They teach what they have to to get their money and get you out and nothing more. Even when there aren’t clients and the instructors are standing around talking, generally if you asked to learn a new technique it was “we can’t today” “we might get busy” etc. After being there a year+, you naturally might get bored doing the same haircut and color and flat iron on your manikin to fill up the stamp sheet. It would be appreciated if someone would let us practice on a REAL STUDENT without calling it a “service” when it’s something non-chemical. Manikin hair is not the same as real hair, and you can only learn so much with it. The only reason I didn’t give a 1 star is because of two instructors who cared enough to teach us.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
