Student Reviews and Ratings for DeVry University-Washington
I registered for a summer class at RCC but when I went to pay for it I realized it was too expensive for me. I was tired and didn’t realize I had to drop the class, I thought since I didn’t pay I wasn’t in the class. I of course never showed up to the class, but then I got a bill in the mail for $800+ I thought it must be a mistake and called the school, they were very rude and kept transferring me to different departments saying I had called the wrong place and they couldn’t help me and I’d still have to pay. I started crying and went to the school to talk to them in person. I could barely get any words out because I was so upset and they were being dismissive and apathetic. I asked if the class was full to see if I had taken the spot away from another student in which case it would make sense to hold me accountable for payment, they said it was not. So even though I received no benefit from the class and used zero resources they forced me to pay the whole amount which was most of the money I had saved up in order to create a better life for myself. I could have done so much with that money, it would have meant so much to me to get it back and it would be so easy for them to give it back but they were unsympathetic and turned a blind eye to my pain. I suffer from depression and this set me back immensely. This college clearly doesn’t care about its students wellbeing and is just looking to make money. I strongly recommend choosing a different school if you want to go somewhere that has a conscience.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
As an RCC graduate of 2015 I can say this was a second home for me. I had the best professors, a very kind advisor who helped me so much through it all. I had an amazing job on campus I absolutely loved, it helped me get involved more with school events and get out of my shy shell ☺️. All this was possible because if something I didn’t like or didn’t feel right with my class or I felt something was difficult, you have to make the choices on your own to make your college experience an amazing one. Do your part being a student and they give you so much support in return and you’ll have a pleasant experience. I love RCC, the best education I could have. Shoutout to Career Services 💕 to the amazing ladies that are working there :)! Helping students and alumni with internships and finding careers.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Terrible staff, they have no idea what they are doing and they are all dumb as a doorknob. Every time I need something they send me in circles. No one really knows what they are doing there.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I'm currently a student here and for most part I can say this college is good. I'm happy with the education I'm getting.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Professor was very chill. Patiently taught us Statistics without frustration. Would highly recommend students to try evening classes for a slower pace.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
