The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

This PLACE IS RIDICULOUS!!! It won’t accept you if you are homeschooled or did high school, online !! As if children can control how their parents teach them!!!!! It DISCRIMINATES and the advisors are RUDE and unhelpful . They didn’t say hi, they are aggressive , and act MISERABLE . I told them I did school with an elite Florida High School but they refused to accept me because my school was online , despite my paper diploma!!!!! They told me I would have to go and take my GED.... after graduating high school 5 years ago. LOL NO THANK YOU. I am proud of my diploma and don’t need to cover it with a GeD!!! What the hell?!!!! 😂 Don’t waste your time with a beauty school that discriminates and doesn’t give all people a chance !!!

THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING TO THS SCHOOL On December 12 , 2018 I Applied to Robert finance makeup Academy school in hopes to become a makeup artist my starting date was April 22,2019. ALL paper work was finalized and I had put down $100 for my seat in class also loans were approved and my payments were going to start in May. On March 18 ,2019 I called Robert finance make up academy school on when I can come pick up my make up case for classes they put me on a brief hold and I waited...Women picks up the phone and tells me that the program no longer exist and they have discontinued it!!!! I was in complete shock and couldn’t believe what she was telling me!!! I proceed to let the woman know that no one had not called me about the program being discontinued!!!! She proceeds to tell me that there was nothing she can do and she set up the appointment for them next week to speak to her and another women . On march 27 ,2019 Me and my mother went to the school to discuss what happen with the program and One of the directors was very apologetic about the whole situation but I couldn’t stay for the second one she was very nasty and rude she proceeded to tell me that her school is a five stars school and that I should consider still attending their new program which offers the makeup and the aesthetician program together Which was out of my price range ($12,000 ) what I was originally going to pay for school (5,000) just for makeup certification... The director proceeded to be rude to me and my mother and told me that I couldn’t find a better school than theirs !!!!!!but I believe that if this school was a FIVE STAR SCHOOL??They were very unprofessional on how they handle this entire situation ...The Director proceed to say that I beat her to the call about the school disconnecting which I was completely shocked that she said that ???? Isn’t the school supposed to let a student know before discontinue a program so they have a chance to start another one?!? Before getting up to leave I let the director know that I wanted my deposit refunded to me and she said that it would be sent to me in the mail by check . On May 16 2019 I called the school back on regards of my check and The receptionist told me that they would get back to me and I waited three or four days and had to call back!!!! Today May 21 ,2019 I call back the school and was told that my check has been sitting there since April 17 ,2019 and they had no billing address to send my check!!! I cannot believe how unorganized this school is with paperwork and trying to give me my deposit!!! I had to go to the school to pick up my check when it could have been given to me on march 27 ,2019 also they didn’t call me that it’s been sitting there the entire time. This school has traumatized me emotionally through this entire process I do not recommend the school to anyone no matter how cheap it is DONT DO IT !!!!

Overall Rating:

The school is absolutely wonderful. My teacher payed attention to detail on all of our work and critiqued and perfected our skill like many would not care to put the time and effort into. Over all I had a pleasant experience everyday and was able to not only learn but also have fun while doing so. RFMA really helped me perfect my craft and also ensured years later I am succeeding in the beauty industry. Thank you Robert Fiancé staff, and a special thank you to Paul for going above and beyond for his RFMA Family!!!

Overall Rating:

I’m not one to write bad reviews but this school definitely deserved one. It is complete FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! I should’ve known the moment I entered the building. All the students talk about is how bad the school is. They even told me after I already started that if they could’ve warned me about it they would’ve. So now I’m warning everyone else. The entire school is SO unorganized. You would think they’re responsible for recording your hours as TEACHERS since that’s what your grade is based on but instead they depend on students for it. Teachers DO NOT care about you at all. There’s so much favoritism in that school, they don’t treat everyone equally. They lose sign in sheets and don’t give you credit for being there. They get disrespectful if they don’t like something instead of trying to help you. I had a teacher ask me if I was “slow” because I asked her for help with something and she didn’t want to explain it to me again. Let alone, they barely ever had the products we needed. Most of the time students have to step out to the beauty supply store to buy the products with their own money. You would think the amount you pay for the tuition would cover it but it doesn’t. The curriculum does not make sense AT ALL. One day you’re doing nails, next day you’re learning how to do a men’s haircut, day after that you’re doing skin care. There is no consistency in order to learn properly. By the time juniors have enough hours to become seniors, they aren’t able to pass the test because they haven’t been taught what they needed yet. You’ll be a junior longer than you expect. I met a couple students who were there almost a YEAR and still didn’t have all the equipment they needed. They give you a luggage full of equipment and make you go through each and every thing in there to make sure nothing is missing. Shouldn’t these luggage’s be prepared for new students already? Best part is, after they check everything they don’t give you the missing equipment until the day you need it in class. If they don’t have it (usually don’t) they make you ask another student to share theirs with you. This school is a complete MESS and waste of time. They do not know what they’re doing. Not at all what a school should be like. If you like clean environments don’t expect this school to be one. This school is SUPER FILTHY and smells disgusting. They make you eat lunch in the basement and it smells like a bathroom. I don’t know how they get away with inspection. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. Speaking for the Perth Amboy NJ Location.
