Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare educational institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Regency Beauty Institute-Winston-Salem is 9:1, that means that for every 9 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Regency Beauty Institute-Winston-Salem
My visits have been sporadic in an attempt to see improvement, though the same issues with this establishment exist: 1) Too much gossiping from students about supervisors and other students, in front of clients, 2) Inadequate amount and access to supplies, 3) Some students have difficulty taking responsibility for their (small or large) errors, and 4) Some students seem to pay more attention to personal hygiene than others.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Im curently attending Regency in Winston Salem,NC. I do not reccomend this school to anyone trying to pursue a career in Cosmetology. I have been an enrolled student since May 2012, the school is VERY unorganized and a waste of $20,000. In the past 3 months the school has randomly lost 2 educators and the campus manager and performance floor manger left aswell. With all being fired, or finding new job oppertunities, no one was replaced until weeks later(2-5 weeks). The school cares nothing about students, and coperate does not deal with any campus concerns, which youre out of luck with a problem. Corperate as well as the campus makes makes it known that "they are here for you, and will help with any problems." that is one of the biggest lies you will be told. For example, I am pregnant as well as another student in my class and we were both told on two different occasions that we will not suceed in this industry due to the fact that I will have to miss time for my doctor's appointments. If anything gets stolen from your kit, you are responsible for replacing it, they literally care nothing about students ecpet treating them like youre in elemantary school. Also, finacial aid is the bigest joke. You will never be face to face with anyone about finacial aid, paper work, or anthing. Its all through corperate which is in another state. That is one of the biggest "unoragnized issues". When ever you need something you have to go through them, which get very frusterating considering everything is over the phone, email or fax. I really feel like this school cares more about treating students like "theyre own" than a "student". The school NEVER has fun activites for students like other Regency campus's, I went to a beauty school previously and we always had supportive activies to make things fun and helpful for one another. For Regency to be a "well known" school, is crazy to not have any type of supportive system.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Everyone on hear that is talking horrible about the appointments needs to realize that it's a school not a salon with ppl that have been done with there training an two u also sing a waver saying a unlicensed student can perform cosmetology services so stop complainingSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
