Regency Beauty Institute-Elgin graduation rate is above the national average.

62% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Regency Beauty Institute-Elgin completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Overall Rating:

Very poor management I was early to my appointment and my stylish was not told I was there and had to wait 15 min or more after my time to be seen. The student cutting my hair was a very sweet girl but didn't seem to know much on how to cut hair. The instructor was not much help she to busy talking to the other girls there and texting on her phone. The instructor only came once to check on how the student was doing and if she was even cutting right and then if everything was okay. I would never go there again and would steer anyone clear of going there. I was not impress with a teacher that teaches there having her hair colored that day.

After much coordination and effort to set up and enjoy a mother/daughter outing of pedis this morning--a special Mother's Day gift treat and the week we are heading to a there 10 minutes late (within their "grace period"), picked out our nail colors, they set up our stations--only to then tell us that their whole system is computerized and even though REAL time we had arrived within the time--their system somehow had it that we were "too late" and then there was "nothing they could do"--they could not serve us. The manager was not there and did not answer when the teachers on duty attempted to call her--our whole morning plan was changed! BE WARNED! (I am grateful the Lord provided for us to get ours done at a real salon later today). We had used Regency a time before--but they just lost our business and any referrals! (I feel sorry for the gals who were going to work on us and earn the money--they were out, too! Poor management.)
