Graduation Rate

Loading...
53%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Professional Skills Institute graduation rate is above the national average.

53% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Professional Skills Institute completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

The testing center is awful. Unfair environment to pass tests.

Overall Rating:

Denise Stevens is the most disrespectful unethical teacher I've ever met she talks down and disrespectfully to her students as if they're not already adults as if they're children I've witnessed it personally she's extremely unprofessional and shouldn't be in a position of any type of authority. Anyone who speaks to this woman will realize this, for people to pay for an education a ridiculous amount and still be talked to like less than a human being is unacceptable. She's lucky it wasn't me she was talking to I would of immediately corrected her behavior.

Look, nothing in life is easy. I went and graduated from PSI. It was drama then and drama now but I graduated when some didn't because my intent was to do just that. Every school has its issues. Don't allow the BS redirect you. Stay focused under all obstacles. Many are doing for their families welfare. To go further. Anything worth fighting for is worth having. I hated Mrs. Vetter when I went but when I walked across that stage, I understood the why along with other staff. The school is good and great beyond many trust me. You're not their to make friends or like your teacher and if she don't like you then o well. Get your lesson and move on. It's only temporary. Stay focus. I appreciate my awesome teachers like Mrs Vetter and the not so awesome ones but mainly I appreciate the experience. #2013 PSIGRAD!!!!

Overall Rating:

This school is so unprofessional, that is should be called Unprofessional Skills Institute. You bring up reports of cheating, concerns regarding instructors, concerns about student, and all they tell you is " they won't pass the NCLEX", "they pay here to go too, so we cannot do anything about it",and "things will be changing, just be patient". They are the reason i cannot transfer to another school because they want to keep my money coming in for as long as possible. If the Board of Nursing or Education was to come in, they would shut this progran down, and thats the saddest thing. If someone from the college happens to read this, please don't reach out to me because i've brought up the concern numerous times, to no avail and you are, ultimately, the one who lead me to make this review to warn other considering this place of education (if you even want to call it that).

Overall Rating:

I am a student here and honestly up until this month now, it was absolutely wonderful I gave this school not but the highest praises but now since we have a new director holly saliva she is the absolute worst ever. I don't know where she came from or where she got her skills from because she is not the best person at all. The moment she walked through the door it has been nothing but issue after issue not just for me but a few other people. She didn't even come introduce her she stays in her office at all times like she's afraid of something. You have to make an appt to see her unlike the old director who literally had an open door very friendly she would actually walk around the campus and everything she is truly missed. They pick and choose who they like and have their favorites, so please please look at other schools before coming here.
