Graduation Rate

PCI Academy-Ames graduation rate is above the national average.

68% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to PCI Academy-Ames completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

I highly recommend scheduling an appointment with Clara A. or Allie B. I'm very picky when it comes to my hair and Clara listened to exactly what I wanted. I'm so happy with the results. She made me feel more confident and I can't wait until my next appointment with her 😊

Overall Rating:

I will no longer be going to PCI Academy. On August 1st, I took time off from work to get my hair done only to arrive and be told that they did not have my hair color in-stock and I would need to reschedule. Then today, August 19th I show-up for my scheduled mani/pedi combo (after receiving two appointment reminder emails) only to be told that I am not on their calendar and nobody can see me today. This is a complete disrespect to my time, and as a loyal customer. I have been going to PCI for almost two years but today I am done.

Overall Rating:

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIRCUT HERE! It looks like I am balding on the side of my head, and the top is all different lengths. I asked for 2 1/4 in on top and a 3-1 fade down the sides, first thing she said was "we don't use guards" and at that moment I should have left. Would rather have a homeless crack head cut my hair for free and then give them $10 instead of paying $10 for this disgusting haircut from PCI.

Overall Rating:

I told the student that I wanted my hair cut colored and highlighted , I told her an inch of the back and an inch and a half off front she cut all the highlights out and she cut my hair way to short and my bangs have a big gash in them and it can't be fixed. I will never have my hair done there again. I want my money back I paid way to much for a horrible job.

Overall Rating:

I've had excellent experiences almost every time my family visits PCI. It is students who do your cut, but they are well trained and supervised and you definitely can not beat their prices.
