Overall Rating:

I had to bring my brother in law for surgery!! We live in Eugene, but they have an amazing hospital!! Very nice!! When you get there there's free parking to the right on Pavillion loop!! If you drive up the hill coming in by the backside.. It's such an amazing comfortable setting. They have waiting rooms with lit flames and chairs set around both sides of the fire!! It's sharp looking and looks super clean. I fell in love with the amazing artwork!! The staff was very nice at the front desk but when I dropped off my brother in law and walked him to his room at 5:00 a.m. I felt like his nurse was all business and a jerk!! I understand people have bad moods but as I professional myself I don't ever treat my customers that way. My brother in law was extremely worried and stressed and I would've liked to see the male nurse take a second to acknowledge my bro in laws stress and actual eye contact would've been nice to see!! He was there overnight and they did take great care of him!! That was just one jerk on the 6th floor!! Anyway it was an exciting place to go. I was excited when I saw Shriners hospital right next to this hospital!!

Overall Rating:

It appears that they have a very racist physician in their employment, Dr. Esther Choo. She made a very disparaging comment about a whole race of people on Twitter and the hospital's response was that this was "done on her own time". I am very worried about Dr. Choo's ability to care for patients who are white. This is very disappointing and I do not trust my son in their care

Overall Rating:

I am lucky enough to never have needed any services here but have visited the facilities and am in love! I cannot believe how well maintained everything appeared and just how large in scape everything was over all. While it is quite a trek maneuvering around on foot, and it can be some what of a hazardous drive if you prefer you own vehicle, the public transportation available is great. And do not forget the SkyTram is an option, if you want a little more adventure in your day. And maybe cost, since it is only free one way. The hills and dead ends abound here, so be warned! But do take in the scenery and just general serenity while you visit if you are able to.

My son had eye surgery here last year when he was only 13 months old. The Dr and nurses and staff in general were all so accommodating and nice. They really helped us to feel better about the surgery. Also a beautiful building and view.
