Graduation Rate

Loading...
53%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Oral Roberts University graduation rate is above the national average.

53% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Oral Roberts University completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Oral Roberts University

Overall Rating:

Overall Rating:

Be aware that the financial aid package you may be offered as a high school senior for your freshman year at ORU is not the same one you would get your next 3 years. Our daughter's aid dropped substantially after her Freshman year requiring her to take on thousands more in high interest loans. Also, if you get the Quest scholarship for traveling to ORU to be interviewed, your other aid may be adjusted. So a 2 k Quest scholarship reduced our daughter's subsidized loan amount by 2 k requiring her to take on 2 k more in unsubsidized loans. Good education but be advised, your financial aid package most likely will drop substantially after the first year.

Overall Rating:

Bad. This is a glorified church VBS camp for adults. All they do is tell you what you CANNOT do, with little to no encouragement about when you CAN do. Very closed minded and prideful.

My daughter Sarah has just graduated from ORU and I could not be prouder. What a beautiful campus and a great place to learn and grow in the Lord. Thank you to all the staff at ORU that has touched my daughter's life.

Overall Rating:

Beautiful architectural structures on campus. The rooms are large and the staff seem friendly. Can't say much for the curriculum or any other activity on campus as my visits were done during the summer. The athletic program is excellent and the track and field facilities are the same.

Overall Rating:

"Best college in this or any parallel universe!" As former ORU President, Dr. Rutland would say 😃 Great university that allows you to develop great relationships with your fellow students, faculty and staff due to the small and intimate class sizes and the university as a whole. Everyone on the campus has such a positive attitude and is always willing to help you in anyway possible. There is always fun intramurals, clubs or events going on on campus whenever you need to take a break from your studies or have an afternoon or evening to hourself. Last, but not least, you will leave this university with the best education that has prepared you mind, body and spirit for life after college.
