Graduation Rate

Loading...
57%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Olivet Nazarene University graduation rate is above the national average.

57% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Olivet Nazarene University completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.

Overall Rating:

I am currently in their ABSN program this spring 2017 semester at the Oakbrook location. This program is a complete ripoff where instructors have no intention of teaching other than making you do time wasting assignments/discussion that have no correlation with the exam material or learning. Some Instructors along with department director (Joella Tabaka and Susan Day) play favorites on who to pass and who to fail. I would avoid this school completely and go anywhere else.

Overall Rating:

Really a for-profit college. They actually shun the poor across the street, putting up fences and turning all of their football field lights on, especially in the summer when the Bears come around. One six-year old girl asked me 'Is that the sun?' I said no. 'Then where is it? I always thought that was the sun [at night] They are such jerks. One of the highest tuition in the state. Don't fork out that much for an average college.

Olivet Nazarene is the type of school that goes to a lighted night parade with their band and they don't bring any lights, they just play and walk at the end (Manteno Oktoberfest 2016) [Someone is editing and removing negative google reviews This is my third negative write up. I will continue to review this school as negative]

Beautiful campus. Great sports facility. Lazy river in the pool area. Giant indoor rock climbing facility. Indoor track with basketball courts. Huge exercise room. Can't say enough about how well done the sports facilities are here. If I we're a student, I'd go here. This is an NAIA school.
