Student Reviews and Ratings for Ogle School Hair Skin Nails-Denton
This morning I woke up and I thought to myself why don’t I pamper myself a little. So I decided to drive from Dallas to Denton to redeem some service that was not rendered at a previous time. About four months I invited a friend to come with me and get some eyelash extensions my treat. After four hours the eyelash technician was not able to complete the job. And I didn’t have any more time. So I asked for a refund. The lady explained to me that they no longer do refunds. So I asked for store creditAt another location closer to me. And she said they also don’t do that. Now it’s not so much what she said. But in the way she said it. As if I am a part of some big underground Eyelash scam. I just asked for her boss phone number and I called her later. She was a really nice lady and she offered me a refund. At that time I told her it will be OK and I will just come back when I have some time. ( I frequent this location and have had some really nice service in the past. And I also have had a refund for service that I paid for in advance and did not receive.) Originally I paid $130. The lashes I got today were $65. For some strange reason the manager said I can only get either my hair done or my eyelashes that I had to choose I didn’t understand why at the time. Then she went on to say I got free eyelashes. She also told me that I waited way too long to come back and she just allowed me to go ahead and get my eyelashes done. And she kept using words like free and complementary. And said that if I wanted my hair colored and cut I would have to pay out-of-pocket for that. I tried to explain to her that I paid for both me and my friends eyelashes on my credit card. Then she told me she can just refuse the service. I asked for her bosses number again and just left. Almost in tears. Now I remember how I felt the first time I spoke with this young lady. my day of pampering was turned upside down to a day of feeling like a criminal. But the only person out of money is me. And traveling so far just to be treated so badly. Everyone else there seems to be really nice people but I would never ever ever go to this location Again in my life. Even if they were giving out volume eyelash extension for freeSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I had a great experience getting my hair done. The students were fun. My stylist was great. A clear sign of the training. The instructors were very attentitive. Was I nervous? Yes, I was asking for a lot. My request was to have dried bleached out hair colored a chocolate brown with a full head of violet highlights, and to freshen up my look. I had an overgrown undercut I was growing out and the shape was tragic at that point. The student & instructors took on the challenge with grace & precision. And I will refer folks.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Came in this morning and was given a great haircut by Ashton! She really listened to what I wanted to achieve, and would bring her instructor over to check on her progress and to ask questions. Overall, I'm incredibly impressed by the professionalism of the school. They also treated my mom yesterday to a wonderful new hair color and cut. Kara did a wonderful job! We also love how the gushed over my little girl, and this morning when I returned they asked how my mom and baby were! Definitely the pick me up I needed after having a baby six months ago! I will be recommended everyone to come out and give the girls and guys a chance!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This review is for the school itself, not the services they provide. I went to school for 11 months (2 different campuses might I add) and the school overall is a horrible learning environment. Lots of bullying and favoritism among teachers, especially the Denton campus. They only care about the students earning money for the school by providing services on the students own dime. 2 hours of lecture each morning is just them coaching you on how much money the school needs to make that day (ZERO LEARNING GOES ON). I am graduated and still feel very uneducated on the topics I am CERTIFIED in. Myself and other students have tried contacting corporate officials (and president of the school) and never heard a response. This school is a whole $13,000 joke. So please save your money and send yourself or your kids to another school of learning.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have been by three times to have my hair done. I have had three different girls and two different instructors overseeing. Every time I have been impressed by the staffs enthusiasm. The girls have been upfront about every step and the instructors are fun and supportive. And my hair looked amazing every time! I definitely recommend this to anyone. Just make sure you don’t have other plans the day of ur appointment, because it may take a while (they are learning after all). You can’t leave a tip with a card so make sure you bring some cash for their hard work!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
