The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Nuvo College of Cosmetology is 23:1, that means that for every 23 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Nuvo College of Cosmetology
As a transgender woman I am always trying to look and feel as feminine as possible. I had no appointment but within minutes Charity Michelle was washing and setting my hair. She was very supportive and accepting of my male to female transition. I was very happy with my new head full of feminine curls. I'll definitely go back to have her do my hair and nails.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I've attended this school for the past year and a half and am about to graduate November 10th 2017! I've had an amazing experience here and built many wonderful relationships with fellow students, as well as teachers. I've learned so much in my time here and am so proud to soon be a Graduate of Nuvo ♡ We are like one big Nuvo Family here! I'm going to miss the clients, as well as my peers... And of course the POTLUCKS! LOL.. but I'm off to new adventures in life now, and feel more than confident and prepared for the steps ahead Thanks to the Nuvo staff!! 😁😊Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I have never been to a Cosmetology school to get my hair done. I made an appointment with Nuvo and had my hair trimmed, all over color plus a full set of highlights for a great price and the work was amazing! I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! All the students were very nice as well as the instructor. The instructor on the floor was amazing she made she that the Nathan (the student doing my hair) mixed the color correctly and made it the color I wanted! Great school and would go back again to get my hair done. Got many compliments asking where I got my hair done and when I told them it was at Nuvo and they even said they would go there as well!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Nuvo is an amazing cosmetology college all the instructors are always willing to help in anyway they can. I had the best experience here and get a variety of clients. The instructors give you real world experience.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Horrible, School to attend I recommend no one to attend to this racist school. Nuvo is design for Caucasian people. The teachers are rude disrespectful, and racist to African American students. They do not teach you anything hands on at all. The instructor 's don't help on the floor, and always going on smoke breaks. All you do is book work. The instructors do not know how to do African American hair and they do not know how to do make up, hair color, barber cuts. Etc. This school was a waste of my time, money, energy, and gas, it's a terrible place. So please do not attend this so called cosmetology school, attend a different one.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
