Northeast Texas Community College graduation rate is below the national average.
18% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Northeast Texas Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Northeast Texas Community College is 18:1, that means that for every 18 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Northeast Texas Community College
Top notch instructors and up to date facilities. I enjoyed my time learning here.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This community college is not the best. There are some ups and downs. The professors barely help when asked, the administration kinda screws you over and somehow makes it your fault. Some of the online work is not the same as learned in class. When you write essays you have to use the sources from the online library the college provides and you're not allowed to use any other sources. Although if you do, you will fail. Their system is completely messed up and had someone else's credits show up as mine. I have taken several extra classes because I was told I needed them when I actually didn't. I have wasted my time and money. On the bright side there are some good professors who care and will help if asked but it seems to me that every time there is a good professor they move to other colleges.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I'm an on the road contractor and had to actually drive here from Florida because they never call you back, I couldn't get my transcripts due to an admin hold, which was nothing but me not signing back up for classes back in '96. Now after two days, it's 1030 and I'm still waiting for transcripts. That $300/day lost for free transcripts. Unbelievable.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
1.The adminstration office is always pretty much empty and it takes them 5-10 minutes to call you back. 2. The learning system is so jumbled you cant hardley find anything. 3. The doorms always stink and are way to strict. 4. Out in the middle of no-were 5. The only reason i am giving this 2 stars is becuase 2 staff members helped me out to the best of there abilities. 6. I have been waiting on my refund from my dorm deposit for 2 mounths now.Very disapointed. I have since returned to my original college i started at Texas State Technical College in waco and our campus surpasses way over this cruddy system. Hope this was helpfulSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
It is a great to start your college career in this community college. All professors are there to help a student who asks for help. Most professors are awesome, but some are ok. I have heard that 70% of the staff have a doctorate. Every student can be successful in this college if they want to. It's all about determination. I'm grateful that a I have earned my Associate's Degree in this college which pretty much opens the door for me to attend an university. This college is a blessing to the Mount Pleasant community and other small towns.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
