The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Northampton County Area Community College is 20:1, that means that for every 20 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Northampton County Area Community College
Professors I've had seem to really care about their students learning, and go above and beyond for them. The busar's office needs to get a bit more organized as far as updating their records. Overall one of the best CCs in the area.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This School is grimy and they like to take away your Financial aid and drop your classes. Also they accuse you're not paying your tuition at the beginning of the following semester to screw you over. Poor excuse for a higher education institution.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Great campus with amazing professors and education programs.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This school is not just abruptly rude but is also very crude and unacceptable. The diversity when completeing a class is very racially assaulting. When being excepted into a program some teachers will not except you for who you are and will want to discourage you throughout the semester. This school is not only unacceptable but very rude to students who want to have a career in a major, the teachers, people in the school, and many more will try to put you down and not let you rise up in what you want to do in your life. Religion, race, and color I guess has an affect on this school and the especially teachers. This is not only sad to know but disgusting to know that a school will be rude to you because of a difference. Sameness is not something that needs to be in the school but different people makes us unique throughout our world. Be careful when trying to think about building your career in this school. This is my opinion on this school and about its faculty. Not all teachers are rude but most are. Also when wanting to be a dental hygienist be careful because the teacher in charge may not be open and will be in my opinion very racially rude. This school is a very inspiring school but some teachers may put you down and not let you succeed in your major. One phrase, be careful of some of the teachers.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I enjoyed my time here for the most part. The teachers are generally very good and seem passionate about they're work. I didn't care for some of the teachers though and the library staff was a little rude, but they might be different now. Maybe they just didn't like my tattoos, i don't know. But the cafeteria food was good. Not a million choices when I was there but everything tastes great that they did have.. For the most part the campus facilities are nice. The dorms aren't huge but neat and clean, and very good conditions to live in with fully functioning heat, AC, and plumbing.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
