Student Reviews and Ratings for National American University-Tulsa
Overall Rating:
Glad I dodged a bullet from this school! If you are a young high school graduate please have an adult or someone to come with you to go over tuition and finances! The advisor was nice at the beginning, but we did have words after I expressed why I didn’t decide to attend this school. Tuition was over $70,000, and I recently had credits from receiving my associates at another school that they claimed they couldn’t get transferred and assist for me to start before I could even get them transferred, I think not. Then the financial aid woman was RUDE when I begin to ask her questions she seem to be irritated because I refused to sign the fafsa paperwork because she said I’ll still need $30,000 to graduate. Okay, what would be the point for me to start? Where will I get $30,000 from? They only want MONEY. Even someone called me from I guess another campus in a higher position, and he said, “Well, that’s good you know your stuff,” Lol! Wow! Then he said he will see what he can do, yeah no call since. Then the advisor said okay you’ll be fine, once we get to that point it will be handled, yeah right. I enrolled to DeVry they were able to transfer my credits and knock off $20,000 off my tuition. I literally have one year left and I’m no were NEAR to reaching my financial aid limit. Please do research. Look pass those smiles and laughs! And look at your PAPERWORK before going with this school. It’s your debt not anyone else’s :) so use your financial aid wisely!
Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™Wish I had done more research before picking this “school.” This place is s diploma mill and they only survive by milking the US government of financial aid monies. The “Campus Director” is basically a glorified paper pusher who has no qualifications to be running an educational institution and he seems only interested in “keeping up appearances” with the community. If you’re considering attending please look at Tulsa Community College or the adult/non-traditional programs at NSU.
