Mt Hood Community College graduation rate is below the national average.
20% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Mt Hood Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Mt Hood Community College is 17:1, that means that for every 17 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

I don't see many images of the campus, so, I don't have a complete idea on how the school looks like. Please post more or take better photos. Seems like an amazing school.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Ive been to three local cc pcc and ccc as well as mhcc. Mhcc has by far been the best. In terms of keeping their stuff in order by far the best. ccc has smaller class sizes but for as big as this school is i think they do sooo well. PCC is a hard pass if youre considering just dontSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
This star belongs to the janitors and not to the teachers or the programs. I have been going here for a year and a half but regret sticking with this school however it would be a waist of time to transfer now that I am so close to graduating. My experience here is that the teachers who are part time have more respect and value their students more than the teacher who are full time here. The academic advisors will tell you whatever you want to hear and will sign anything to get you out of their hair. It is up to you to keep track of what classes you need and MAKE SURE YOUR DEGREE AUDITS ARE UP TO DATE AND THAT YOUR CREDITS HAVE BEEN ADDED WHEN COMPLETING THE CLASS! they do not care, you are just another student and there will be more after you. The student store is very expensive! Try finding books elsewhere if you can! Parking can be a hassle so try to get a spot really early in the morning like 7am-730am. The cafeteria is mildly expensive for what you are getting so pack a lunch, river view is just a name they threw on to jack the prices up. Black rock has amazing coffee and they are inside the library when you need a boost and I would recommend checking it out when going here. Not all the teachers are bad here but my experience is that the part timers really put in the effort. If you are a veteran and choose to go here their resources are great and they will help anyone, great group of people in there!UPDATE!!! Just got my degree and couldn't be more disappointed.. Not only did they spell my name wrong but they also put down the wrong degree!! My family was so in shock but I on the other hand was not. Words cannot explain how much I regret coming to this college, terrible staff and such a broken system. Please do your research before coming to this place, you will learn more from YouTube than spending time and money in this place.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
So far, I have only applied for admission. I have not attended classes at MHCC yet. I am taking the required courses through Chemeketa to get into the Funeral Service program at MHCC. So far in working with MHCC, I have found the Financial Aid staff to be very rude and unhelpful. When you ask questions or inquire about anything, they behave as if you are bothering them and give short and very vague answers. The Advising staff seem very friendly, but they are not helpful either. At least they try. It just seems as though they really don't know much about their own programs and curriculum. I wish that there was another school in Oregon with a Mortuary Science program,.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I wish I went to PCC. Least helpful or understanding staff. I don’t think they understand why they’re there. I’m literally begging for support after a death in my family and a personal mental health crisis and I just keep getting the run around. Whenever I get everything straightened out, I’ll be transferring and definitely advising anyone I know to never go to this school. Also a horrible selection of online classes.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
