Montgomery College graduation rate is below the national average.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Montgomery College is 17:1, that means that for every 17 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Montgomery College
Ive been to several community colleges due to military service and I have to say Montgomery college is the one I am sticking with. It is the only school so far where I've been genuinely excited to learn at. The professors are terrific and always helpful. As long as you ask the school will work with you to help you out. The staff actually care and guide you to succeed. Its a great school.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
They attended to me very quickly and the student aide is super amazing. 😁Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I graduated from Univ of Maryland-College Park but transferred from Montgomery College. Fantastic institution. Gets a bad rep for being a community college, but you'll get more superior professors here than in any 4-year Univ. You'll also save tens of thousands of dollars, whether it be from the courses themselves or not having to dorm. Remember: Gen Ed and preliminary courses are the same no matter what institution you attend, community college or Harvard. Also, offers a great/smooth transition into college life.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Almost everything you need is ready accessible. Many of the professors are easily approachable and are very nice. Some of the office workers are also nice. The people at the ‘welcome Center’ in Germantown composers are always ready to help .Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Best community college ever! The classroom sizes are great, the professors are down to earth, there are many ways to get involved, and it's very cost effective! Don;t let the negative community college stigma fool you, because MC is the best!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
