Student Reviews and Ratings for Barber School of Pittsburgh
School should have closed years before it did. However once they determined it had come to closure, they failed to send out information of this closure and who would be holding onto their student records so that former students would be able to easily obtain them when needed. They were extremely unprofessional and hired equally unprofessional staff. One particular staff member informed my husband (a graduate of the school) that the school would not provide him with his transcripts to obtain certificate in another state and that the state of MO would send that info to the new state, that information is completely false. When the school was open (which it was at that time) it was up to the school to send that information to the new state upon request made by the student. Now we are having to track down who has these records so they can be sent to the other state. This is causing weeks of additional backup when he should have had them sent many MONTHS ago.The school was all about money and not about proper teaching of the men and women who chose to attend the school. The owner wasn’t even located in MO and the lady who ran the school on his behalf was complete inept at running a modern barber school. There are a few options available for people who wish to become barbers and certainly more barber shops than is even necessary in the County for someone to choose to become an independent contractor in, hopefully if you’re looking to attend school you do your homework on the school first. You really do get what you pay for.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
