26%
BELOW AVERAGE

Miller-Motte College-Wilmington graduation rate is below the national average.

26% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Miller-Motte College-Wilmington completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Overall Rating:

this school is awful the degree is awful the credits are bogus and you’ll get yourself into a grave of debt id highly recommend going to a regular college perhaps a community college. i graduated for surgical technology and had one job offer which was making less than my brother when he was a cook at the olive garden. its been a year and i still haven’t found a hospital willing to hire a new graduate with little experience and the loans are already showing up on my credit score of $45,000 through nelnet. Go to a community college its a better education and much less costly im going back to school for my masters and am becoming a PA which is what i shouldve done all along. The only good that came from this school was the 6 month clinical experience i got to do in the OR and the program director/my professor at the time was Jody she was great & too good to be teaching at that school!

My experience with this school was exceptional. My program director was helpful and always available to rectify any problem I experienced. Career Services was relentless when it came to connecting me with potential employers. If you are serious and know what you want you can certainly benefit from any program you choose.

Miller Motte of Wilmington should be ashamed of themselves. My whole entire tax refund of $8022 was took without even a notice from the Department of Education. 4 weeks of classes is costing me right at $16,000. I'm a single mom of 3 boys fixing to be out of a place to live. We were temporarily helped thru FEMA due to the hurricane we had last year. And that tax check was going to help me and my boys find a home. I didn't get no notice or anything. 4 weeks of school has cost me everything.

I can say as for small classrooms this is amazing! However employees being available to you sucks. It is always voicemail this voicemail that. Oh their is no answer. Example of resent problem, I finished my degree in August 2018 with honors. Have been waiting since then and it is end of January 2019 and still have not received my diploma. I even had my Graduation walk in Oct. 2018. Do yourself a favor and even save money. Go to a community college. At least they care about the ones that paid their bills. Also they put teachers that have never taught or studied the course your taking in charge to teach you.Yes you heard me right they put uneducated for some fields in charge to teach you. And the Graduation ceremony they put on for their students is the sorriest, cheapest event that I have even seen. I seen more decorations and attempts to say congratulations or thank you in a soup kitchen I volunteered at. The equipment is outdated and they rush you threw everything. Yes even with teachers that don’t have a education in that field. Rant over. Please look elsewhere for your degree.

I must say MMC has been an all time blessing in my life from some amazing teachers to the career services department. I graduated Oct 26th and even before then Carrie Berry has been by far someone I will never forget she has stayed in contact with me on a regular and landed me two great jobs! Thanks MMC family for walking closely with your students as well as still being there after graduation that means a lot !!!
