Student Reviews and Ratings for College of Health Care Professions-Northwest
Staff encourages bullying and theft claiming it's a "tradition" to take new students property and hide it in garbage bins to "teach them to keep track of their stuff." Of course they only target certain people with this 'tradition'.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I’m sorry but I will have to agree with the following people who also had a bad experience as well Especially a school for people with special needs. A few years ago I wanted to do the automotive trade that the school offers here. But unfortunately due to me never learning any hardcore math of any kind the staff thought it was necessary to put me into a trade that they thought is easier for me which was being a custodian because the school didn’t offer tutoring. Which I think is beyond unacceptable. A good amount of the staff were incredibly rude. So after the 1st semester I was there I left the school. I would not recommend this school unless you like rude peopleSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
When I took my son there, about a year ago now, for his classes, it appeared clean and the staff were polite, professional and very helpful. His counselor was very nice and the dorm staff were very nice and helpful. For me as a visitor and parent of an attendee I have nothing but good things to say about this college and all it offers to those whom attend.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
moldy dorm hallway walls, multiple water pipe bursts in the canteen and classrooms and they kick out the kids that simply need the most help!!! Fire and Safety tend to be mean, dorm offices ted is the nice guy ever and is always willing to try to help all students no mater the problem to the best of his ability, Angela is the best, though she is strict its in a motherly way she can nice but she also knows when to put her foot down. Leisure's Emily is nice and helpful, Justin is a cool guy interacts with students plays basketball in the gym, although Christina is very short tempered and wasn't very good with teens she tents to shrug things off, Christina is responsible for the canteen but doesn't maintain it the canteen has broken couches, broken arcade machine, a wide rage of board games but most are missing a lot of prices and she is over controlling (for instance kids started pool table torments and she took it over and kids stopped because she made it no longer enjoyable for the them many other kids voiced that she took the fun out of fun she said herself that she didn't know how to play yet she decided to make rules about how students could play when she is on lifeguard shift she was very very strict where the others were not (for example kids were not aloud to cannonball) also be careful what classes you go into some teachers are very rude and mean to students who cant keep up with their chosen course of learning and will eventually get kicked out if grades slip instead of helping them, some classroom counselors are unhelpful in some situation Shela Wright is one of the worst and prefers to kick students out rather than deal with them~Desirae SanbornSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
We dropped our daughter off today. It was a warm, comfortable environment. The staff were helpful. The students seemed happy. They have cool extracurricular like sign language and anime club. They also transport students to different churches in the area.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
