After being mistreated for six years from ACMC in Willmar MN transfered to the mayo clinic. The care is good but the only problem I have is how it is billed. Through the Pharmaceutical company they have a program to help out of pocket expensive. How the mayo bills it i am loosing $1300 a year. It does not cost the mayo or insurance company anything.

My husband drove me up to Mayo for appointments and tests beginning on Jan 2, 2018. We expected to be there for A week but ended up having to extend for a 2nd week. I can't say enough praise for ALL of the doctors, nurses, support staff, volunteers!! We went to get answers and we got so much more than we expected - verification of some medical issues we already knew about and then also found out about some that we weren't! Mayo is a teaching hospital but not just for the medical professional but also the patient and their families. Thank for such excellent care and paying close attention to detail!!

I had the pleasure of working at Mayo Clinic for nearly six years, but did not realize the true value of Mayo until I became a patient. I became a patient recently when I had a life threatening event. The number of doctors, residents, nurses and other support that they had across several departments and the coordination to ensure I had the best possible outcome was absolutely amazing. I was treated initially at another hospital in the twin cities and after they initially treated me all they wanted to do was avoid readmission to the hospital and if I had not gone to Mayo I fear what the outcome may have been. Thank you Mayo!!!

The docs at Mayo saved my life 20 years ago and have carefully monitored me ever since. More than once they have been alert to issues at my annual physicals that my local doctors didn’t catch, probably because the locals don’t review my chart as carefully or listen as well. Have I run into some lemons along the way? Once or twice, but my primary and main specialists have always been terrific and rectified those less than helpful situations. I trust Mayo with my life because they’ve earned it over decades.
