Graduation Rate

Marketti Academy of Cosmetology graduation rate is above the national average.

78% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Marketti Academy of Cosmetology completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Marketti Academy of Cosmetology

Overall Rating:

I absolutely would not recommend this place to anybody. My wife went there a little over a week ago and had nothing but issues. First and foremost, she needed to have her hair bleached to remove the old color and when the student applied to it to her hair, no precautionary methods were used to keep the bleach off of her skin. She ended up getting severe chemical burns on her face from the bleach and had to go to the doctor to get cream and a steroid shot. I have also never heard of a salon taking 9 hours to do hair, but this is how long it took the student and Ms. Sarah (teacher) to do my wife’s hair. My wife has tried to contact the owner on more three occasions and hasn’t received any follow up from her. I highly recommend you take your money elsewhere to get a quality/professional experience, because it’s very likely you will not get that here.

Brought in my two boys 6 and 3 in for haircuts. My 3 year old had never gotten a haircut before and he screamed and cried the whole time (which I expected). The student was so patient with him and lots of ladies came over and tried to distract him and keep him happy while she finished. Very nice overall experience. They did a good job

Overall Rating:

Very professional and clean school. The students are observed during service and they check the work before a client leaves. I got a haircut and eyebrow wax from Samantha Johnson, I will follow her after school for my cuts! AMAZING

I do not like this school people are rude. Stylist are okay but most people don't have respect and I feel like they are racist towards black customers.
