Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes an extensive number of students. This indicator doesn’t take into consideration students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Manhattan Area Technical College is 12:1, that means that for every 12 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Manhattan Area Technical College
I had heard such amazing things about this program in the past and could not wait to attend the nursing program. However those amazing things were in the past! One of the most unprofessional schools I have ever encountered. The communication is awful with rules that are made up as you go along. So many false promises made that they cannot follow through with and then place the blame on others for it. Hold your ability to test until you take a survey about the school! This could be a great program again if the leadership was held accountable for their actions. Check our all programs and reviews before making any final decisions. As if nursing school wasn’t stressful enough...Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I went through the ADN and LPN program. There is a lot of miscommunication in this school. There seems to be rules made up as they go and rules they make are often intermittently enforced depending on the mood of the faculty. The teachers overall were great with some exceptions but the leadership was terrible. I had asked for help on a few occasions. Every time I was either ignored or pawned off to other faculty then ignored. The one bright spot was the TLC. The person that runs it was outstanding. I made it through this program in spite of them not because of them. I feel a person looking to attend this school should really be sure it is for them.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™

graduated in 07 with a degree in Information networking technology. I've given up on trying to enter the workforce in this field. MATC doesnt provide any sort of assistance or guidance for job seekers. my training and degree were outdated before I even graduated. If you are considering going to MATC, go into nursing, you can have a modest career in medicine. there is no local demand for most of the programs though.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
I enrolled in two summer classes as a test run for this college. The woman who is in charge of verifying attendance for veterans is clueless and had no idea there is more than one type of GI bill, furthermore she thinks that the GI bill is "free money" she can control. The teachers are rude and very liberal opinionated, they teach whatever nonsense they like and disregard the books. Classes are changed and cancelled without notice, the place looks like an inner city high school inside and out, and you have to make an appointment to speak with anyone about anything. The only plus was the academic counselor who advised me to go to K State instead.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
