Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This indicator doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Long Island Nail & Skin Care Institute is 30:1, that means that for every 30 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Long Island Nail & Skin Care Institute
I’m one of those people who barely writes a review about anything. But then I started realizing everything I purchase i instantly look for reviews about that product first. It’s so important to know about others opinions and experiences. I’m here to tell you that unfortunately this school should not be open anymore. I wish someone could report them big time at the point they would have to close doors. I took the nail course 2 years ago and today they texted me on my phone offering me their hair stylist class that starts soon. So it made me remember about writing this: the nail course you don’t learn anything you need to. In fact, the instructors were so disrespectful. They would sit there and talk to another student about personal life for a long time. Then, they go through some chapters and give students a test and that was all. Nothing else. No practical classes at all, in fact, they don’t even have the material for practical. The whole entire course the owner promised to get the fake hands for practicing and never did it. The kit We got that they say it’s worth it $600, it’s not worth it $100. There’s nothing there besides a bunch of nail failed and other stuff but most of it was actually broken when we got it, including the box. Pathetic! There were books to go through (on your own) and we were tested every week. But nothing practical. The owner is disrespectful and only cares about the way she and the school looks. If they’re pretty, she’s happy. Esthetic class is in a different room, and now if we want to use the bathroom, we have to pass through their classroom disturbing their study. It doesn’t make any sense. I would never NEVER go back there again. I’m writing this after 2 years. I’m not sure how it is now but I’d demand money back if you start anything with them.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Rebecca was amazing. Very professional. The instructor was there to over see the work being done. I would highly recommend.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
