Graduation Rate

Loading...
54%
ABOVE AVERAGE

Lee University graduation rate is above the national average.

54% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Lee University completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.

The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.

Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t take into account students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading perception. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare institutions.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Lee University

Overall Rating:

I graduated from Lee University in May of 2016. I attended the adult online program. I can honestly say that Lee University has the best Professor's, they work with you. Their main focus is to see their students succeed. Lee University has high expectations for the future of their students. I highly recommend Lee University for any degree that you may be pursuing. Overall Rating:

Lee University is a great college. However, bike theft is a huge problem on campus. I have had two different bikes stolen within the past year. I had two U-Locks on my second bike. The thief still came out with bolt cutters and stole my bike.

Overall Rating:

Would stay away from this school as an online transfer student. Their offered business program online is severely underdeveloped. Some of the required classes are not even online to complete the undergraduate online business program. Professors and the administration are unprofessional in meeting an online student's need. They are inefficient in proper communication with clear responses. The administration is unsympathetic to a student's financial circumstances. A relative of mine, due to financial reasons, is essentially forced to quit this school. Financial aid does not enable my relative to receive more federal aid because my relative surpassed the 120 credit hours (from the complication of accepting credit hours of previous schools). Despite surpassing the credit hours yet still needing to take many more classes to fulfill the major requirements, this school is not understanding of my relative's situation. Unless you obtain 4.0, you can "possibly" receive academic scholarships, but it is unrealistic to place this type of high expectations for a middle-aged working parent to excel to this standard with school work. My relative was about to finally conquer a 30+ year battle of obtaining a bachelor's degree through a Christian school (starting with her first school closing down). I didn't expect this Christian institution of higher education, where my relative has dedicated their life to the ministry with the church denomination affiliated with this school, to be so cold-hearted and greedy. This is a complete disappointment towards the school and heartbreak towards my relative.

Overall Rating:

I am an alum from 31 years ago...I'm also a former employee...and I sing the highest praises for Lee University. It is a wonderful place for students, staff, and faculty. Consistently ranked in the annual U S News and World Report edition of top Colleges and Universities, Lee University can hold it's own against any school anywhere. It is the best! Some of the very best relationships that I have ever enjoyed were made at Lee University. People that I am still close to--so many years later. The academics are challenging and rigorous, and everything is done with the highest degrees of integrity.
