Lakeland Community College graduation rate is below the national average.
10% of full-time students enrolled for the first time to Lakeland Community College completed the education program and got a degree in 150 percent of the expected time of completion.
The graduation rate value includes only programs that were completed less than six years for four-year degrees or less than three years for two-year degrees.
Graduation rate is the percentage of institution’s new-entering, first-time, first-year undergraduate students who complete their program within 150% of the published time for the program. Graduation rate excludes a huge number of students. This index doesn’t consider students of nontraditional enrollments - part-time students, students who enroll mid-year, and who transfer from one institution to another. So graduation rate alone can create a misleading picture. Completion rate in the form of total number of students receiving any types of awards/degrees creates a complete picture. Combining this data with graduation rate is a better way to compare schools.
The student-to-faculty ratio at Lakeland Community College is 17:1, that means that for every 17 students the institution has one professor, lecturer or specialist with a degree in education. Lower student-to-faculty ratio is better - it means that professors can dedicate more time and attention to each student.

Student Reviews and Ratings for Lakeland Community College
Good place to take classes and keep your mind sharpSource of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Lakeland is a community college in Kirtland, a suburb of Cleveland. It’s a great place to start a post high school education, to obtain one of many certifications, obtain or finish an associates degree, or start down the road toward a four year degree In conjunction with a multitude of four-year institutions. Often, most of the classes that need to be taken to obtain those four year degrees, can be taken right on the Lakeland campus. The college has a local feel, but provides a premier education to those that cannot afford or for one reason or another have not been able to find their way to college. That’s because this college is affordable, local, safe, and many scholarships are available. There are also programs for those that are still in high school, single parents, and especially programs for those are who are already in the workforce and are looking to obtain further education in their field so that they are more valuable and knowledgeable. There are part-time and full-time students.Lakeland is already a large piece of the Northeast Ohio educational community. So many people have started their careers at Lakeland. And with a huge capital improvement project, the campus is totally changing its look and establishing itself as an educational player in the Cleveland area for years to come.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
The campus is exceptional in regards to it's facilities. I completed online courses so I had minimal interactions with staff.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Being a student here, I honestly feel like, aside from the teachers, the staff here doesn't seem to care about you. The website is difficult to navigate, for summer classes they don't give you enough time to return books. For an eight week course they should at least give you a week to return your books. Their hours are very inconvenient. I thought this was my only option for school because I was given the impression that their credits were more so transferable than other community schools, but I soon found out that was a lie. I am very displeased with this school and its staff.Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
Hi, I'm a graduate from 1988 of the Dental Hygiene program. I have a successful career now. The dental hygiene clinic has since been updated and looks awesome! I had a positive experience there. I always encourage people to attend, even if it's just to save money on electives! My son is currently registered and will be attending this month, I'm thrilled. I'm also going to be attending, but as a 60 year old who will be auditing the class, because I can go for free! I give Lakeland 5 Stars...Good luck!Source of the review: Google Places, Google Maps™
